oh man i know ! it is literally just crazy how many things that come from our current lives were derriven from that society! its amazing how advanced they were !
and how about the food? i had amazing culinary experiences. i had to be rolled along those ancient streets half the time after what can only be described as (over)indulgence.
hehe i was on a tight budget because of goign to barcelona this coming month of september so i ate breakfast and supper at the hostel because it was provided .. so i had just a few experiences like that.. the food i paid for was definately the cheap food that i paid for ! so hehe i know i can get good food there but i didn't really and instead paid for tours and archi stuff hehehe but it sounds fun how u did it too !!!
Lol, that crosswalk is intense! It's so awesome that you got video footage of your trip to Rome. So freakin' awesome. Was this a weekend trip? Btw, your German friend is very good looking! Lovin' the video documentation, keep it up!

lol its pretty not busy because of it being tourist season.. it was busy in just small places .. like the foutain i showed and everywhere else is so big that it doesn't fill up ! go see it .. its fantastic :) !
Beautiful! I've never been to Rome, but my husband has--years ago. He said that it was overcrowded and dirty. From what I understand in the last ten or fifteen years Rome has undergone a real transformation. They've put a huge amount of work (and euros) into restoring Rome. It looks absolutely wonderful. Kind of hard to come back to the Byward Market and eating beaver tails after that. ;-)
lol ! seriously you would love it . if you are a history person you would just fal lin love.. its definately a go with a group kind of city ! im glad i met some buddies to go with .. its very clean now ! have to say.. its just hot haha
Purty architecture, especially the Pantheon. :) I was hoping to see though some randy local guys hanging around the fountain like in My Own Private Idaho, trying to pick up some action. Perhaps I'll have to go to see that myself. :P
I wasn't so impressed with Florence to what I thought it would be and it was unbelievably hot haha... too hot for an English guy who's used to rain anyway haha.

I was in Rome as well this summer. I found it to be just about the most amazing city I've been to and truly eternal. Can't wait to return!

I've always been afraid of Rome being overcrowded, and it seems so empty during daytime! Was it so?
