  • If this is true, then what is making the moon expand? Also, how is it expanding? Does it's mass increase too? Does it get hollow? Does it get less dense? I'd like to know more :)

  • @sstan1337 2. The Aggressively INCREASING growth of Earth cracked and split the thickening and cooling Granitic CRUST down to the molten BASALT on Either side of what was to become the North American continent and oceanic plate began to rift and spread. Gravity (I'm sorry.) In Pair-Production, a high Energy Photon strikes "SOMETHING", Invisible to us. (A tiny INFACING EM field, I deduce.) And splits it into an ELECTRON and a POSITRON. MATTER.

ONLY Energy and EM. Gravity,..is EM.

  • @nealadamsdotcom Ok, guy you´ve got me curious. What are you talking about? Where can I read about this new theroy on expanding planets? It sounds to me like psuedo science but, I will give almost anything a try. What are your resources? I´m ass-uming you think Earth is expanding too, right?

    Thanks in advance.

  • @sstan1337 Ah, but it is I who believe it is YOU who is the roaring asshole, and my note was in response to your smarmy bitchy and stupid FIRST NOTE. As the offended party, it is I who CHALLENGE YOU to ZE DUEL, VARLOT and INTERLOPER!

YOU,...live on a planet which, as it heated DIFFERENTIATED lighter Granitic MOLTEN ROCK that evenly coated the outer crust of Earth with layer after layer, coating and re-coating the WHOLE EARTH evenly and semi-smoothly. The aggressively increasing GROWTH..

  • Plate Techtonics works the same on every planet/moon. It´s called Continental drift. Yes, there is more than one way one can explain how they move apart but how do you then explain how they collide? If they (planets/moons) grow then continents or plates can only grow apart, and they don´t they also sometimes collide. If you draw some shapes on a balloon and make it bigger the shapes will never collide no matter how how big it gets, they will only move apart. Mmmmmkaay?

  • @sstan1337 So the crust pieces slide,..."DRIFT" around the Planet like billiard balls bouncing and crashing into each other and continuing to bounce around. Is that it?

SSSSsso, why do we call these pieces "The Crust" at all????? You say they are just God-made funny shaped pieces scattered in different areas around the body like BEER Coasters,....is that it? I see.

Well, Thank goodness THAT'S straightened out.

  • @nealadamsdotcom So I´m still waiting for where you got your info.... I am open to your idea of growing planets although I don´t see how they could possibly grow. Come on man I´m holding my breath here to be schooled on this. How do planets grow? Please.

  • ahhhhhhh... i new idea. careful now...

people that aren't opened minded might kill u...

like those who didn't believe the earth was flat

or if the earth was the center of the universe.

    ^_^

  • @eliden - 1. The earth isn't flat. 2. You'd have to be talking to somebody who was afraid, or was concerned that he had something to lose. This project is in the hands of the right person.

  • @nealadamsdotcom wtf u talking about? i know it is round, i was relating how history always misjudges the people who were right...

  • @nealadamsdotcom he is using that note as a reference of history. he's not arguing with u

    hes being sarcastic

    lol

  • @nealadamsdotcom Good job I can't thank you enough, I knew they were full of it in 4th grade, other parts of science class made sense and didn't contradict themselves. When our string theorists and subatomic models start paying attention to this truth we will have breakthroughs. Waves propagate - in space what are they propagating through ? Ether(dark matter) vs perfectly empty vacuum...people are waking up.

  • Funny how stagnant science is once a theory is accepted it stands for years and years without new ideas or thoughts.

  • @deathsite1902 That is not true. If you mean ideas like the basic laws of gravity then you are right. There is no reason to do extensive research on Newtons Theory`s anymore because they are indeed a fact. But all fields of science are constantly being tested and retested and are ever changing and growing with each new discovery.

  • Neal, you should next do animations of Europa, Triton, and Enceladus. I looked at detailed pictures of them after I found out about the expanding earth theory. Those three should be dead giveaways to anyone who's still not convinced.

If you treat Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune as solar systems (those three give off more energy than they get from the Sun), it makes sense that they would have their own Earths orbiting them and being able to harbor life.

  • interesting

  • @evensgrey NO one has found any indication of any sort, on an Planet or Moon that indicates SUBDUCTION!

    Bulls**t your way through that!

It can be measured on Earth, because the outer crust began rifting and spreading 180 MYA and Magnetic reversals give the Growth Rate. The SUBDUCTION RATE can be infered

  • The smoking gun to the growing moons / planets idea would be to see an ancient crater that gets split into two halves come back together again when you shrink the planet / moon.

find that and you have won the game... at least in my book :-P

  • @batfly I found it a hundred times. Watch the Moon Video.

  • @nealadamsdotcom Perhaops you could indicate a video that actually has such a thing, instead of a video based on radically deforming the surface of the Moon without reference to any mechanism that could deform it. (Incidentally, the rocks of the Lunar Maria are realtively dense mafic rocks, rather than the relatively light andesitic rocks of the highlands. And, of course, even cold rock flows like a liquid on the scale of a body the size of the Moon, so no big holes can exist.)

  • @evensgrey Don't understand your point. I am not deforming the surface, merely sliding higher plate back over lower plate.

    Growth is the Mechanism!

  • Neal is right about Ganymede-Mars and Earth but what it really boils down to is that the subject of cosmology is a forbidden fruit which has been looked at with great distaste for centuries upon centuries by the church's hierarchy. The riddle of the solar system is not such a tough nut to crack but cosmology is as I said the forbidden fruit so once must tread lightly. Time and perseverance may be the whats needed but it will be a great hurdle regardless of the amount of proof on the topic.

  • @MADhybrid1 Neal (Me.) is not the kind of person to to make one little effort to "Tread Lightly". The Devil can take the hindmost.

Anyone interested in advancing truth, but is faint of heart, has better get out of the way. Anyone not willing to take a hit when the other camp is Right about something can go away. Anyone not willing to read and study all of this and more, go directly to the stupid box. This is a serious business and bodies will be left for offal in the arena. No quarter.

  • @nealadamsdotcom

it is overwhelmingly obvious that you have a deep understanding of the inner workings of the solar system and anyone who knows anything can see that you do indeed carry the ball but don't under estimate your opponent. he is willing to do anything to stay in power and i mean anything,be crafty in your attack. You have entered forbidden territory and are subject to the same kind of resistance that Newton and many others endured. But it is my deepest WISH THAT YOU SUCCEED!

  • @nealadamsdotcom

  • I don't intend to dispute any of your claims. In fact, I'm quite glad you've done all this work. Know that regardless of consensus, the truth will eventually win over.

However, you can't call this conclusive proof. I don't see how the scientific method was rigorously applied. It is compelling evidence, nothing more. Occam's Razor agrees with you, which is enough for me, but that does not make it fact, simply a theory.

  • @Nerfi Which portion of "THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD" was not applied? Just wondered?

  • @nealadamsdotcom I thought I had removed that sentence, I recognized the inaccuracy. Just pointing out that actually saying "conclusive proof" makes you look crazy.

  • This is very hard to refute. Clearly the pieces fit together very nicely in all directions. And it's the "in all directions" that makes this hard to refute. Obviously they fit together so well because they had to at one point in time been all together. And there is no way they could have all been together without the moon being smaller. Great work Neal!

  • Well, here's an idea. The Universe is said to be expanding. So it appears that it's not JUST the space between objects that is expanding. It's everything in the Universe that's expanding. Solid objects, (planets) AND the spaces in between. Neat.

  • This video epitomizes Poe's Corollary. We should reference it on urbandictionary.

  • Well i have done a bit a research since last time i posted here ,and i looked on Nicola Tesla's Dynamic Theory of Gravity,At least what i could find about it,and other new Theory.Which states that matter can be generated from energies and all the universe is currently soaked by energy. If i relate to those theories, planet growth should be something natural and obvious has planets by traveling into space they collect energy either from movement and from nearby stars.

  • One thing that really bothers me about many of these videos is that you don't even present the consensus view-- It's as if they have no idea and the best possible explanation is to bin most of our current understanding of matter itself.

  • @hugesinker We are limited to length of our videos.

Consensus is,... Neal is wrong! How's that?

  • @hugesinker I suppose I could spend my life explaining all the lousy science of history, but I don't HAVE the time.

  • @hugesinker

well there's no need to present those traditional views of classic science - they are notoriously being manipulated to fit someones prejudged schemes and allowed theories... who is curious about them - this is revealling and uncesored unlike the official knowledge...

planets DO GROW. why is ti so hard to understand? living organisms and beings uindergo physical changes during the course of their lives.I'm convinced every single earthq. documents proces of growth...

  • The universe is expanding not planets and moons.

  • @kikibortok The universe is made of a prime Matter,.. which is NOT matter,(Anymore than MATTER is MATTER,) Really very tiny magnetic fields. If you strike one of these "bubbles" of EM with a High-Energy Photon, you get Pair-Production,...the only form of matter creation from, seemingly NOTHING. Pre-matter into MATTER. This is the beginning of the MATTER CREATION process.

  • @kikibortok you nailed it! Yes, planets start as dense cores near the Sun due to the Suns strong electromagnetic force then expand. Everything in the universe is structured by fibbinaci fractals. The solar system is a larger fractal of an atom.

  • I understand that planets are growing. But i find a bit weird that planets near the sun were smaller and more dense. Those planets should be younger , as they get older they might grow and become giant gas planets like Jupiter and saturn ,if they dont have new material supplies. Then loose some gas to other space until they get back into very small rock planets.

  • Interesting idea.It said the sun will expend one day and reach the asteroids belt.If the sun can expent ,Why not planets? If we look solar system smallest planets are closer to the sun.Closest one are also made of rocks. As we move from the sun planets getting bigger and gasier, until they start getting smaller and densier again.

  • @kikibortok NO,...You don't quite understand. The System GROWS!.

Matter is merely PART of the System.

  • @kikibortok Well, planets can't grow because stars grow which is the process of death.

  • So if we consider those points, the gravity force should change as well, which will change the orbital movement, the distance and a lot of other things.... But the thing is that we can do the same using the simple tectonic, furthermore it explains better the different directions of plates and the mountains. With constant expansion you can't create relief... just graben. Blow a balloon, with four stickers and see the result , no collision.

  • Tell everyone you know, especially students, teachers , Professors all about this.

Encourage them to think, consider and discuss.

It's time for a broader debate. The fact that it's necessary is laughable, but it is,...NECESSARY!

If you're interested in more videos or the Physics portion, go to nealadamsdotcom

Spread the word. You will be participating in the next great revolution in science.

Just imagine how rowdy it will get before the truth wins.

    Is there anything like this?

    Nope.

  • @nealadamsdotcom why bother telling a teacher they are through learning. they all teach from text books 20 to 30 years old while you buy the new ones.its true i have seen it with my own eyes.

  • And I can turn Kirk Cameron into a monkey using photoshop, but it's doesn't mean he used to be one. You know, being the idiot creationist he is. Your logic and method are grossly flawed Neal, but entertaining nonetheless.

  • @ultraviolentcat What a pitiful response..

You're like a person watching a magician , and who doesn't know the trick, but assumes it was a trick. but doesn't want to admit he doesn't know how to DO the TRICK, but surely it WAS a TRICK!

This is ALL based on the premise, that I INTENDED to trick you!

    It's NO TRICK!

  • Great work!

  • I wonder why the patterns are so obvious on Ganymede, but Callisto looks like one solid piece that is heavily cratered all over.

  • Interior heat? heat can create expansion.

  • i like this theory, but where did the extra mass come from? or is the planets getting more hollow?

  • Gents and Ladiez- This theory ends in geology, but it begins in physics. Without the physics, this is just the observation of the result. Go to nealadamsdotcom. The physics paper is there. Read it first, then comment. The answers to 90% of your questions are in that paper. I can't summarize the paper here.

  • Gents- Numbers are going up here faster and faster. If you want to help, Invite people to watch. Post this video on other sites. I won't be upset. In fact, I'll love it. Start debates anywhere you can. Send people to nealadamsdotcom for all the videos. Invite physicists and physics students to buy the physics paper there. I don't know what the hell they're so afraid of, but the physicists are the worst. They think this is only geology. Is there lead in the water?

  • This is pretty darn cool. I don't know where the material came from. I consider that part a mystery my experience doesn't prepare me for. However this experiment appears to me to show an even expansion. It is pretty surprising since the old school view I think is asteroids or gas accumulate, squeeze heat, cook and then distill into layers. This planet is like a popcorn kernel that grew evenly out of its pericarp. My prejudice is that the growth is a special condition of the mantle when hot.

  • "Im not a real scientist, Im an artist and I dont look at it the way... I look at it, I study all the sciences, I study every aspect of science but I dont study it technically. I dont do the math or all the rest of it. So I just kind of skim the surface of it." -Neal Adams 7/12/06 interview with New England Skeptical Society

  • waycooltoo, thanks for this, I will continue diggin about this "hypothosis"

  • wow, Time and space expanding theories are correct? if space is expanding as Universe accelerates outwards, it would explain why planets and moons behave the same way. Now would that explain obisity? lol j/k.

Great video, makes a lot more sense.

  • Is the scientific community too proud to accept that a comic book artists might have made the biggest scientific discovery of the century?

  • willsmackyoudown I have a feeeeeeeling.

  • We need to like gets our butts over there. This is the most Earth like planet near us. It's a snowball Earth (like 800-550 million years ago). Mars would be a transit stop enroute.

  • I hope this theory gains more momentum as it seems more plausible then the current gliding continents theory.

  • Saladshootavvv Resolve yourself, You will find no peer review. You may read Sam Carey's 2 books and Peer-reviewed papers, but this advances Sam's theory into all the sciences. Is there peer-review for all of science? From a NON-scientist? Too many steps. Get OVER your rudeness or I will simply BUMP YOU. Consult your family's best arguments and make your points/arguments.

First explain why 2/3's of the Earth's continental plate is MISSING. No magic, rogue planets or science fiction.

  • "explain why 2/3's of the Earth's continental plate is MISSING"

Um...it's called a a subduction zone. the plates change constantly.

  • We witness this ALL the time. Just google search Convergent boundaries and you'll see. Also, I don't know what exactly what you're trying to get at by saying the plates are missing, but explain to me this....

How do you "debunk" the fact that we found the same fossils and rock formations between continents (ex. South Africa and South America) that could only be possible by continental drift. ALSO we have WITNESSED continental drift with satellites. WE CAN SEE how fast the plates are moving.

  • Saladshootavvv, A "growing Earth" justifies and explains "Continental DRIFT" logically and physically, continental SPREAD!. I cannot believe that you are so mindless of this as you indicate. "Continental DRIFT" implies continents are swimming about on the surface of the Earth. This was Geology's first imbecilic analysis of SPREAD-ing continental plates We CANNOT "SEE" how fast plates are moving. We CAN measure. Then we have fossils and Rock formation between North america and Asia..

  • saladshootavvv If you wish to humiliate your whole family by saying these things without consulting them before you speak, so be it. Continental plates are mostly Granitic and THEY-DO-NOT-SUBDUCT! ...Nor do they disappear. Your arrogant family members will never be able to answer this question either. Where are the missing TWO THIRDS of continental plates?

NO MAGIC, science fiction or Rogue planets!

"Pride", my young friend, "Goeth before a fall."

  • Pride? I'm acting rude, but pride has nothing to do with it, and it certainly doesn't make you correct. Look, we can prove that subduction occurs at oceanic trenches as well as subduction taking place in the past, and this is backed up by IMMENSE amounts of PEER REVIEWED evidence. Not to mention there is absolutely NO evidence for an expanding planet in the entire universe. I could point out all the flaws in your argument, but it's a waste. Stick to comics, fantasy is all you seem to care about.

  • saladshootavvv Peer Review? Is that the invisible shield that holds out all thought?

Subduction, Compressive subduction DOES exist. It BEGAN on Earth 60 Million Years Ago.

But The Atlantic began spreading 180 MYA! As did the Pacific. MY Proof/evidence??? 25 years work of a multitude of Geologists culminating in the Crustal Age Map.....WHICH,...if you examine carefully continuitystudiosdotnetslashgrowth you will find subduction began 60 MYA.

GROWING STARS! We have one! Growing Universe!

  • First of all bro I read everyday. That includes books. You're being rude

I don't need to explain myself & what I believe to others as if to gain there approval. As I said to you in a private message you started at the very end of this theory with only the concept applied. Growing earth has the same Pangaea evidence, different conclusion.

When I say science is mean the conclusions NOT the Facts, NOT the Scientific laws. So 4 example the Big Bang, Nebula theory, Giant Impact hypothesis & Pangaea

  • Neal** sorry. my bad x.x

  • Neil - I just wanted to say thank you for all these videos. I hadn't heard anything about these theories until now and I'm slightly outraged that the scientific community is more concerned with appeasing humanity with easier-to-digest theories than being responsible enough to accept new scientific evidence of the evolution of our planet. It's a pity that politics interfere with the advances of scientific frontiers.

  • Hi CodeRed. Earth has rifts in the oceans that spread outward as lava & gases spread it apart. Earth Grew. There is NO Pangea or even evidence of Pangea on any other planet or moon. All moons Grew. Neal is just showing that the same laws of Physics work on all planets. Just watch more of Neal's videos.

    I hope this helps.

  • OMG!!! HAHAHA. I was curious as to what the "top 1,000 most intelligent people on the planet" had to say about subjects that he's familiar with. WOW

My dad is a geologist and one of the worlds authorities on florida geology and fossils. I showed him this and he was laughing his ass off. LOLOLLOLOLOL!!!!

  • Geologist eh? When I saw the Pangaea I was laughing my ass off. Flawless argument!

Everything in Science is WRONG from the Big Bang right on through. Humans will look back on our Era & think "How can we think we were the center of the Universe" just like it was once thought that we were the center of the solar system! I want to make it clear I don't so easier believe what the rest of you believe in.

Your evidence is a lie, but don't take my word for it. See for yourself in a few years!

  • Yea, you're right, it is flawless! It's been peer reviewed over and over with undeniable evidence and proof. You people act like science is some cult with conspiracies. All it is is a tool. Biases are taken out in the peer review process so no such thing could exist. LOL

I can't believe you people actually exist!!! You made my week!!! Thank you for the epic lulz!

  • saladshootavvv What's worse than debating a High Preist of a broken and bleeding religion?

Debating with the Priest's SON. He has the belief and RULES but not the dicipline. Laughter and ridicule, but NO valid argument. Histories shamed fools!

  • You say that the moon shows seas on one side because it is tidally locked. Ganymede is also tidally locked, but in your picture it looks like the "seas" are on all sides. Please explain.

  • Stubbzuki, WOW, good response. Now that you mentioned it, I always wondered why that circular area of "Upper""Continental Plate"was like that. Does that area face outward, by any chance?

I'm just thinking out loud, but Jupiter is really BIG, you know. It's influence would reach around the moon much more than the Earth, you know? HMMM.

  • I don't know the answer, of course, and I have only heard of this concept from watching your videos. Jupiter also has many moons, instead of just one. I think Jupiter being larger would tend to favor an even stronger likelihood of having seas on only one side. When you add in the effect of all the other moons, plus Saturn being closer, that could make more of a difference. Or, the seas being only on one side are just a coincidence with our moon.

  • When I look at the bottom of it, it does look kind of like the bottom has fewer dark areas. Regardless, I would like to hear your analysis.

  • Hi Stubbzuki, You bring up a good point. I would like to know more about this as well. I do not believe in coincidences. Everything MUST MUST have a Cause and Effect. So there has to be a reason.

  • Ironically right after that post, I figure it out. The key is that Ganymede is the Largest Moon in our solar system. Neal explained that growth pushed that one spread to the far side of our own moon. Ganymede obviously has more spreading & is larger then our moon. It had to grow so much that spreading stretched to the far side.

Saturn is very far away from Jupiter, perhaps in between Jupiter & Saturn is the largest planetary gap? Saturn's gravitational pull couldn't influence Ganymede's growth.

  • YES Thank You Thank You Thank You for doing Ganymede! Now do Maranda! A Moon of Uranus! Please Please Please Please!

  • wavepsychic, In fact I did Miranda. Why is it of interest to you?

  • Why is it of interest to me? I am thirsty to understand Miranda. I am very pro Evolution even though Evolution is miss understood. Scientist claim that Miranda was hit 5 different times by a huge Asteroid. Each time it had to reform. They took rocks & ice cubes in a cup, shook it up & said this is what happened to Miranda! NON SENSE! Creationist just said, god did it in 6 days, because no one can explain it! I want REAL Science! Please I want to watch a video of Miranda!

  • miranda?

  • Pay attention, I already said it is a very strange moon of Uranus.

  • I know perfectly well what miranda is, I was commenting on that guy´s "meranda" spelling, you looney. And even If I didn´t know what miranda is, you are the last guy I´d ask. I was mocking you in my previous comment in case you didn´t notice.

"Pay attention"!?!!? who do you think you are?? When did you lose your manners???

  • I apologize! I didn't mean to sound rude.

  • 1/3 = 33%

  • "One third... thirty porcent!"

    Stop slandering Ganimedians!

  • Ganymedians? That reminds me of Cow Boy Bebop. lol

  • Sorry if this has been answered already... From your demonstration, the entire planet is not growing, only PARTS of it. I.e.: The crust did not grow as we can see that is the part that appears to be broken up. So, is your hypothesis that the mantle is growing, the inner core or what?

  • everyTHING absorbs photons (light), and light has mass right...the scalar nature of celestial bodies may also be important in terms of the relationship of growth, and expansion....

  • Gentlemen. To get the full impact of the videos, there's a dozen of them on neal adams dot com. Warning, like this one, they're a kick in the stomach. If you want more, and the theory, while you're there you can also drop a double sawbuck and get the full blast of the presentation. Or not. The dozen videos will rock your clock.

  • I don't see where the conspiracy is. It's commonly known that water actually expands as it freezes. So as Ganymede cooled down it expanded. We know that the difference in age of the two surfaces is relatively small because of the number of impacts being similar. So what's the problem?

  • pfff... am i supposed to be seeing something?

  • With Earth I see it, but not with these relatively foreign planetary bodies. With Earth we know all about the fault lines and the topography and we have mapped this planet to the fullest extent. What has he to go on but pure guessing with these? It's entirely unscientific. It just makes him look desperate. And yes, I have a brain.

  • I said him, didn't I?

  • Dr. Neal, I'd like to echo hermancrona's question. Bottom line: is a planet's MASS increasing with its size? If yes, please briefly explain how gravity at a planet's surface is affected over time, relative to the growing diameter. I hope this isn't too simple or stupid a question, but I assume that, by bringing your gospel to a YouTube audience, you do expect to deal with the middle of the bell-curve. ; ) Your response would be very much appreciated, thank you.

  • peterkellyflores- Great questions. Mass is increasing with size. Gravity will also increase directly with the diameter of the planet. BTW, Neal is not a doctor, as far as I know. I could be wrong. He would likely be pleased with the error. :)

  • Hello Neal Adams and thank you for these film clips - im really enjoying this theory! Question: according to this theory, is the mass of a body, moon or planet, constant? - if so wouldn't that leave a some void inside? the planet?

  • hermancrona- Great questions. No the mass is not constant. It will increase. Neal believes there is a void inside, but not the one you are thinking of. The void will tend to be a dense plasma once sufficient size is achieved.

  • timefilm, Every week that goes by gives me more weapons. Each new discovery supports the theory. Will it win out? Of course, It's the truth. Is it going to be easy? No. I've done this before, and I read the history books. It's actually movinng much faster than anyone could emagine. But look how each new person comes to it with shock and horror.

  • How can there be anymore debate on this? Neal... what sort of feedback are you getting in the real world?? Wouldn't the imaging people at NASA be embracing this???

  • timefilm, I have spoken to some of them. They are employees. They're searching for standing water on a dry planet. It took them 50 years and letters from me and a grade school class to recognize tectonics on Mars. Is there subduction on Mars? No. I send them videos, they see water erupt into space from the interior of moons.

  • I agree. This theory is solid. You can watch some of the 'Dark Mission' vids on my site to understand why NASA admit or release what it knows.

  • Can you free me from your BLOCK LIST theduderinok? I am very sorry that have been happened. Go to my playlist and you will see that I try to build a good playlist that point to your films. Thank you theduderinok

  • I have only one gripe with the most compelling part of your theory: Can you show that you can't take any randomly generated pieces and squish them together like in your animations? It's just, from watching them it looks like (although no real turning of the pieces, etc) they are not very similar in shape before, but then just get smashed and contorted to fit together. The common animation of a human face morphing into a completely dissimilar object would be a good example.

  • Nayr747. I tried to put australia next to india as many in the past had suggested. I got a football shape. I have a globe in my studio/ A globe on which all the continents are glued at 200 percent of their original size. Couldn't distort them, could I?

  • Hey Neal. In all seriousness, I would like to propose an interesting project for you. Dione, Saturn's moon, looks like it has tectonic fractures that pretty clearly define the emerging plates. The strict set of rules you follow for you "shrinkage" videos can most likely be applied in reverse to show an expansion prediction. Maybe it will bare a resemplance to planets like Ganyamede, or Titan which by the looks of their plates, are relatively recently and quickly "swelled".

  • Why do you believe there is no subduction?

  • coto, Why do you believe there is subduction? Earth is not a boiling caldron of silicates and metal, First they told us Earth was molten under the crust. When they discovered it was solid , they said it was a bit plastic. From "a bit plastic to subduction , I can't go. What about displacement? No displacement? Sorry.

  • The Uranium being the heaviest, setteld in as the core as other materials in the accretion disc coallesced around it. Being the heaviest, it is found in abundance in the inner planets as it was created by the sun at it's birth and filled the inner orbits initially, condensing around the inner planets forming. The elements separated int he accretion disc much like stuff in a test tube in a centrifuge - by weight, only backwards, the heavier stuff closer to the sun.

  • They exist on the surface because of two reasons:

    1) Millions of tons of uranium and iron laiden meteorites over a supposed billion years or so.

    2) Volcanic convection bring up lots of neat stuff from the core, incuding iridium which was thought to only come from extraterrestrial sources.

  • Modern, (sigh, o-kay, let's do this. How does iridium past a 1,000 mile thick molten iron core and WHY? Volcanic (?convection???) is at the near surface. I'm not seeing pure solid iron. "Created by the sun at it's birth.." I like that . What does it mean? The uranium . should have settled in the sun , within a molten iron ball. RIGHT. Our science is screwed up , my friend.

  • Yeah, I am a dat bit of a callous ass, most of the time. Especially when I am expected to comprehend how matter is generated miraculaouly inside the encapsulated environment of a planets core. Our core is fueled by Uranium keeping more than 60% of the Earth's inards totally molten. The spin and the moon create convection induced centrifugally and gravitationally. Notice that planets with hot cores but slow or no spin, show not signs of tectonics or expansion. Kiddo? I am 40, kiddo. :-)

  • Modern. Uranium and IRON , melted or not would have had to differentiate these two to the core 4.5 BYA. TROUBLE is for some reason we find a whole lot of these two here at the crust. heh. Can't be! That's O.K. everything else you said was wrong too. Just funnin' you ... relax.

  • I'd like to see your take on Mercury and Venus. They seem to not have expanded yet. they are fully encased in crustyness. See any new rifts forming to signify expantion? When Venus is done expanding, it will be the size of Uranus (no pun intended) and hollow. How is new material created in the confines of an enclosed and limited core? Oh I have to buy your book. I guess I will remain a dumbass for the unwillingness to buy fairy tales.

  • Modern, Are you paying attention? Nothing expands! It GROWS from creating more new matter at the plasma core powered by the EM field. They all, all, are always growing , all the time. That is their only function. Add mass and grow, first by accretion and then , big enough , creation of new matter at the core. Every-body in the universe grows.

  • modernpowerconcepts - Actually Neal has done some work on Mars. Check out his videos here on youtube, or you can check out his videos at his website. He also does the Moon, Europa and of course, Earth. Neal might need more time and money to do Venus. Also, I very seriously doubt Neal will profit on this. He's already invested .4 million at least. He's put his money where his mouth is.

  • He's done with science, what crusaders did with religion; misinterpret it. YOu can put all your money in your mouth and still be chasing a fantasy. Whether Adams profits from this or not, has no bearing on whether he's full of poop or not. What he says is not logical. Remember that nothing is what it seems to be at first glance.

  • ModernPowerConcepts - Of course it does not seem logical. That is why he kept pondering over this for 35 years. He finally figured the physics. It pulls everything in all together. Have you looked into the physics behind all this growing Earth idea? Do you understand what Neal ideas on what matter is and is not? I'm not asking if you believe it, I'm asking you if you understand it.

  • Actually I am not aware of Neal's ideas on what matter is or is not? I am sure could understand them. Where can I find his ideas on matter? I am open minded enough to give Neal the BOTD.

  • modernpowers, So 200Million Years ago, this island broke in half, and the two halves "traveled" over the poles! Then they broke up,4 at the south and 3 at the north. Now they are traveling toward the equator TO CRASH. I say the Earth grew, and the outer granitic crust cracked into pieces and were forced to spread apart as the earth continued to grow and rifts spread. And I'm full of poop?

  • modernpowerconcepts - Fantastic! As I cannot put a url in here, I'll have to guide you to it. Go to his site. Then click on science. Wait for all the pretty pictures to load. On the very bottom on the left there is the "Physics of Growing Earth" and "Prime Matter" These are the key to the whole thing. I congratulate you on your open mindedness. :-)

  • Don't embrace me and invite me to dinner yet. i will go an study the lead you've given me and I will then make my conclusions. In the infamous words of our greatest "real" comic book physic once so eloquantly remarked, "I'll be back".

:-) to Neal: poop may not be all....hehehe

  • I meant "physique"....

  • modernpowers... "is not logical"....? hmmm Is this logical? (place this image in your mind, No water on Earth, just upper continental plate and lower oceanic plate.) All the continents "traveled" to one side of the Earth to join up into one big giant island in the Atlantic, AND They stayed like that for unknown hundreds of million years. Before that the backsides of these continents were together in an island IN THE PACIFIC.(Rodinia) (more)

  • if there was no water on earth when the earth was small, where did all the water that the oceans have today come from?

  • endisswing There was water earlier , but it was in shallow seas on the land. I chose not to indicate the change in the water because I was showing the tectonic layers closing. There has been water on Earth for nearly 3 billion years. Though the Earth was the size of the moon then.(Perhaps a bit bigger.)

  • God. ;-)

  • Ok the fact that you charge people for your crap is what makes you a kook! If you have a truth to share with the world, that will make a difference, than share it. Your hypotheticals and cheesy CGI's do not seem worthy of all that money. Get it over to discovery channel and share the good news, don't sell it.

  • modern. Charge people? What the hell are you talking about. I put the vids up for anyone to download for free. If someone is too lazy to download and wants a dvd, somebody has to do it for them. Nobody works for me for free. HEY! YOU'RE LOOKIN' AT THIS STUFF ON UTUBE "FREE". Next thing you'll be doin' is suggesting my next video, and HEY, I can do it for free! You've got a lot of bloody nerve kiddo.

  • To my inderstanding Continental Drift was caused by almost a fissure. Which lava poured constantly both way and thus pushes the continent's away (which applied to Earth if you look at the alantic sea bed.)

  • DotN When we think of lava as from Volcanos forming Hawaiian islands , SOME land is formed. 'Rifts' spread and yes , you can call the magma. lava.. It fills as the continents spread, iT doesn't overflow.

  • Again, this resembles continential drift as lava overflows and forms new landmass.

  • Yes, it "resembles" continental spread. Lava forms new landmass? Well..... It does , a little bit. Listen kid, you gotta crack the books before you write in.

  • Ok go easy on the young'uns. If planets expand, then how do you account for it? What process in the planet allows for such expansion and the creation of new, previously non existant material, plus overall planetary density? What happens inside the planet? Does a big void form at the core?

  • modern, I'll tell ya , but it's physics. I find it interesting but it's dry.and takes 3 posts. If you really want to read it say so.

  • your answers are in 3 parts in "Conspiracy of Science- Earth is in fact growing" Comments & responses pages

    21 and 22.

  • The law of conservation of angular momentum would suggest that as the earth grows, its rotational speed would decrease. Just curious if there is any data on that, which would support this theory?

  • krew1618 Yes . 350 million years ago a day was 19 hours long. I an no so shure that that is as relavent as it seems, though. Still , interesting, of course. Neal Adams

  • Interesting. Are you aware of any current theories that would account for this slowing?

  • krew Vague theoretical stuff. but no,nothing I'm aware of.

I wouldn't want to be a pangeist and have to explain 2 or 3 billion years ago based on this. This info doesn't come from any research of mine. I'm just repeating what I've learned. Neal Adams

  • I am taking you to task on some things, but I believe this shorter day idea is right. I beleive the current theory is that the moon was... closer or farther in its orbit? I forget. But its orbit varies on billion year time scales and that slows and speeds the rotation of the earth due to tidal friction and other gravitaional effects.

  • Could it be possible that at or near the core of a planet the material is extremely dense or compacted by extreme pressure. When this matter is pushed towards the surface it expands. It may be allowed to happen as the matter is in liquid form. I can see for instance that lava rock is much less dense that the magma that has created it.

  • No, I am not a planetery geologist, but that sort of process would have come to an equillibrium LONG ago. There might be some huge stars or quasars with the type of mass that would allow some funky effects of gravity and extreme compaction, but I think something the size of the earth would explode if you have 4 times its proper mass within its sphere.

  • OK, you posit a hypothesis (NOT a full theory) that is very compelling. But you can't advnace this without some hint of a process that would create matter within the planet. You want to make this a respectable theory, you have to come up with this.

Is this growth occuring at a rate we can have measured with the last generation? Within the NEXT generation posessing precision satelites? Is the growth constant and the same for all planets? Do asteroids and comets grow?

  • Trevor In actuality Trev, it was not I who came up with the Growing Earth theory, That honor goes to professor of Geology Sannuel Warren Carey in the 60's. I merely created the animations and well, discovered the mechanism for the "creation of new mass" It's a little long for 500 characters. My site has a lot of it. mermiss, It doesn't work like that , lava rock has air bubbles.

  • PRIME MATTER!!??!! Oh, heavens, it can get worse.

First I think you are a little deceptive when you reference Carl David Anderson's name, but his work was in support of "standard" science and I don't see any evidence he would go with you.

Next, if this is science, where's your predictive experiment? Tell me effect we can look for in the future that is more likely to prove your theories than the standard.

  • Trevor ..First .Let's call it Dark matter ,and work from there. MY WORK is in support of "STANDARD" science. Real standard science. not a series of stupid theories like the bogus Pangea theory,(Or the Big Bang or the Solar System accretion model) Real Science! Anderson's work is true science. If he "went with me" is immaterial. Predictive experiment? The Earth is growing.

Do you have a question? Or you here to merely embarass your self with your "Oh heaven's "

  • I was thinking about a predictive experiment. I was thinking you would need a 0G environment. Then you need a lon thin tube. At the end, its in a freezer. Now, you squirt out something like that chocolate they use to cover the cones at DQ. The how chocolate would freeze as it got to the end. The mall would grow from the inside and you might be able to see if the crust would break and expand like Neal shows.

  • I assume since part of your experiment involves Dairy Queen you are laughing like I am. I would know you were serious if you said Fosters Freeze. Show me where the mass comes from, or tell me how fast each of these bodies is STILL growing so we can measure the growth year to year, and we'll talk. That's your experiment.
