  • This show was awesome... we grew up watching it and none of that "political correctness crap" ever existed cause no one ever saw it as anything but funny comedy. And its still "Funny" comedy..

  • @oceania68 Your outa ya fuckin' mind, ya fuckin' stupid Skippy cunt! Go fuck a kangaroo!

  • I am 45 years old and I remember all of these great 1970's shows. The world was better then, I know everyone says that but it is true.

  • @Davewise1965 I agree 100%.

  • Too full of white honkies, desmonds was much better...........

  • To quote Jack Smethurst (who played Eddie Booth), it was a child of the seventies, for the seventies, and I think it should be left in the seventies.

  • my nan and her friend got me into this a while ago and i think its soo funny and im only 18

  • @BossRoss999 Exactly the same here. I got into it after I saw a clip of it on The 50 Most Unpolitical Correct TV Shows and Moments with Clive Anderson.

Just from that 2 minutes worth of video, I laughed my head off because I knew exactly what they were trying to achieve.

I was quite happy when I found series 5 and 7 on DVD in HMV and last week I bought the whole series off Amazon so I'm sorted with funny fuel for the Easter.

  • i'll have half.

  • i love this, it's so Poltically Incorrect. Isn't this banned from the Telly? xD.

I have it on dvd ^^

  • Good cast, awful program.

  • I never thought this was racist and I am mixed race. The main thing I remember about the programme was how sensible the wives were and how they ALWAYS got on.

  • love thy nigger NOT.

  • Racist and unfunny - good riddance

  • @banhamm Right on my pc loving socialist brother. Right on. LOL !!!!!!!!

  • @dirkbogarde44 ah the Daily Mail approach of describing anti-racist opinions as PC!

  • another classic comedy that sadly fails to get repeats because of the pc brigade . this era of tv comedy was at its best ! pure quality and loved every moment watching this around my grans at 7 pm. remember it like it was yesterday.

  • they were the days, before it all got too pc - honky, sambo and "I'll 'ave an 'alf"!

  • i have never seen a re-run of this on tv now,i think it would considered to racist

  • @moomintroll1963: Because it was LOL.

  • The classics are always better because they have better actors, storylines and zany antics than the newe ones! Plus, british comedy is more funny than American comedy, with the sole expectation of American actress Lucille Ball!

  • @Jeansieguy First of all it was my personal opinion on the matter and second of all if you don't like the fact that British comedy has better writers that's too fucking bad for you! You have no fucking right to talk rude to me simply because I'm giving British TV the credit it deserves! I don't really care what you think and quite fucking you have no bloody life! Funny is not just funny, it takes real talent and creativity to make a sitcom work, but i guess you didn't know that!

  • @Cunard51 Are you upset?

  • Now this is a classic, they just dont make them like this anymore,5***** willie.
