@toyracers and @Chris5, You gentlemen made my day. Your enthusiastic appreciation is reward enough for me, and encourgament for putting together newer ones. Thank you.
@cloclo900 : Thank you for your comments. I have both the HP-41CV and the HP-48gx in my iPhone (actually, these two applications were the sole reason why I bought the iPhone in the first place). I have owned at one time or another each of the HP-35, HP-25C, HP-67, HP-41CV, HP-48gx, HP-50. I was a kid when I got my 35, it was worth in the vecinity of $400 and it was worth every penny.
The resolution of the screen is critical, in my opinion, for graphical applications, plotting curves, and video games. It is true that a better resolution is a really nice eye catcher, but I have never felt its need in the HP-50g. As it is, I use the smallest fonts available and I am quite happy with it. In the end, it is always a matter of personal choice. Good luck ith your choice!
You are indeed a great teacher. I'm about to make decision between TI-89 and HP-50g. Watching your video tutorial I have a desperate feeling that all other methods of work than RPN are just waste of time. The only 'objection' so far against HP50 I have is a poor resolution of the display. It is questionable whether better display is just eye-candy, or would really help (compared to TI-89 and TI N-spire series). thanks again.
sir..
YOU ROCK!
