Oy, just try looking on the wiki for Soul eater. The anime calling Crona a boy/girl is an error on part of the translation. According to the wiki, Crona's gender has never been specified and that moments where he/she is referred to as son/daughter are supposed to mean "child" rather than a similar term showing gender.

Crona was originally portrayed as a girl in Japan. When it was translated for the US, it was thought that it would be better (for the US audience) that Crona be a boy. Boy or girl all depends on what version you go by.

She does SAY that in the translation...but the translators don't always have the best translations and some things are hard to translate like Pronouns since Japanese actually have a word they often use that's literally translated "that person" but here in America we replace it with whatever pronoun.

@H2Osolidsnake1 In the Japanese anime, Crona is referenced as a girl. In the U.S., we referenced Crona as male. But in the manga Crona's gender is not referenced at all mainly because it was irrelevant to the story line.

But if you want to judge by looks, Crona is clearly female, she has pink hair and wears a dress also, Crona's name ends with an "a" which is feminine. It's nothing anyone should be arguing about or calling each other names. All that matters is that it was a pretty good AMV.
