  • GOT SPAM! thats scary

  • Time did you set off? Seems really clear for a practice week. Early I'm guessing, 5/6am?

Nice Ride, Got the Mille footage yet?

  • :o

    that's fast.

  • that camera ffs, nice ride else ty

  • My right ear is sad.

  • @Ne0c225 You do realise that the sound is coming out of the left speaker?

  • @TSVermeulen Yeah because the sound is only on left, that's why my right ear want to hear the sound too. :)

  • This is sick,,i wanna do this

  • On a litre bike you can do 165km/h in first, so there is no need to get all the way to gear six to do 187km/h. If you stop knobbing dogs and think for a second, you would realise the absurdity in your argument and kill yourself as a result, and many many dogs out there would be much happier.

  • @whitespace1981 Spot on comment

  • @whitespace1981 you dont even know the difference between kmph and mph,so first know that and then open your eyes and see..lol..

  • @whitespace1981 smartguy. you think he drove 187km/h no.. it's 300

  • Comment removed

  • Nice ride there mate, not bad at all :)

  • @misanthropic shut up you sausage jockey i dont recall me sayin im in the vid! were talking about motorbikes! Not pedal bikes so stick to ur push bikes you soppy cunt!

  • got dizzy and bored at 2:00...

  • Great riding, very smooth an fast! Think u cud of overtook ur buddy going up the hill! U was shifting a tad early but none the less! Proper ride mate!

  • @Galamesh123 I didn't see you in this video, so shut the fuck up.

  • edondari wrote "are kmh not mph! come on!"

  • great now i got to find edondari comment!

  • @jamtoz Omg!

  • Respect brother...

  • that sound is beautiful.......great vid mate.

  • Thought that at arround 7:30 to 8:00 when the camera was interrupted he may have failed and crashed :o

  • Great video man, always like this type of camera view.

  • Nice riding, great to see someone who knows how to use a 1000 for what it was designed for.

  • nice riding love that section of the coarse

  • LOL at the speedo. Best bit.

  • what the actual fuck??!! this guy has a massive set of diamond plated titanium balls...that was fucking awesome!

  • nice vid thx

  • Comment removed

  • brilliant, specially 4:30 onwards thanks for posting that, nice vid m8.

  • How can anyone say that's kph? any liter bike wide open in 6th gear is going to be faster than 99% of people can honestly handle in any sort of environment but straight down an empty interstate. These are unquestionably the toughest racers in motorsports. Watch some other videos of these guys. Amazing.

  • is that an original zx10r? Impressive stuff man

  • Great riding - respect.

  • are kmh not mph! come on!

  • @edondari Do you actually believe that?! Come on man,get serious...

  • @edondari you must be fuckin retarded

  • @edondari

What 1000cc supersport motorcycle do you know of that does 187 kph while nearing redline in 6th gear? It's in mph, with actual speed probably somewhere in the 170's factoring in speedo error. Use your brain.

  • @edondari yes man good old MPH, anyone could do this ride if it was kph. Hell I ride a 250 at 140kph (that"s like only 70-80mph its a piece of cake.)

  • @edondari I don't think the top speed for a zx10r is 187km/h at sixth gear. Fuck off dipshit.

  • @ryinger Your right, a zx10r is not at the top speed at 187 kph... unless he changed his transmission kit to a shorter ratio.. wich i bet he did. its defently not in mph, he would never do one of the corner he did at 40kph but in 40mph. And he sure did not reach 187 mph

  • @Hexureus No, that's definitely mph.

  • @Hexureus You are such a complete and utter cock. There are plenty of cartoons on youtube for people like you to watch. This sort of video is obviously way to complex for your pea brain.

  • @edondari ok well if it was why would his zx-10 be topping out 116mph?? course its in miles you tit

  • Is it just me ... Or did anyone else get really mad becuase he was unable to pass the guy he was racing with !?!?!?!?!??!? I was sitting on the edge of my seat wating for him to repass that dude ! Awsome .. gave me a real rush .. better then fake ass movies

  • nice...

so this zx10 had stock gearing?

  • thats fast!!!

  • Very very nice riding sir. I wish I could have a go at the Isle of Man with my 1984 GPz900r...

  • @TheRambler91 You ruin that bike and I'll personally hunt you down and kill you.

  • @Tdfries No worries on that, I treat my sweet GPz like a child... A child that is the son of God himself. But thanks for the insurance policy on my conscience. :)

p.s. I keep it stock, its a crime against the mechanics and engineers that brought the beast to life to modify it. Aside from california clean air systems... I tore those out and plug up the holes.

  • @TheRambler91 Happy to hear. I'm a huge fan of the GPZ's... and I'm glad you haven't molested yours. Such beautiful bikes stock. I wish I could get one but man the ones in good condition go for top dollar, especially the GPZ750 Turbo.

  • @Tdfries I dont think I'd be able to even have a nightmare of modifying my GPz... And i got mine for $2000... perfect condition I got it from the original owner, he was a dufus... the manifolds from the air filter to the carburetors we loose so it was loosing power... he though the engine was just bad... I got beyond lucky...

  • @TheRambler91 Plus im not to partial to the 750 Turbo's... I had the misfortune of riding one once and its just a 900 with a smaller engine... its the same weight as a 900 with A LOT less power... not worth it.

  • whats wrong with the camera ?

  • Insane riding!

  • MY LEFT EAR

  • maybe yesterday I would write that this is great but today someone hit a guy on a motorbike next to my house :/ it was very sad ''view''

  • Missed just about every apex ! rubbish riding.

  • CANT U JUST HEAR THAT BEAST ROAR?????

  • I had a siezure everytime the camera skipped.

  • the flashes are just him going back in time, no big deal.

  • That was Fantastic. Thank you for uploading. This is a great ride out . I ride an old Gsxr1100 h so these speeds are never on the menu for me lol..... would I [ could I ] ever use them ........HUmmmm I think not lol. A great ride thanks again for sharing.

  • your nicked next time u come to are island

  • LIVE THE LIFE YOU LOVE, LOVE THE LIFE YOU LIVE....FUCK YOU HATERS

  • awesome riding mate..... inspiring stuff, now I need to get out on mine and blow the dust off it at 150+

  • Nice riding mate. I love IOM

  • nice ride with friends with the machines and after a coffee is that you have. I saw many beautiful landscapes. Be well and as we say in GREECE always standing

  • Fantastic perspective of this run. Unbelievable courage, quick mind and super skills to fly at these speeds. Those of us without these qualities take our hats off to you guys.

  • Gooseneck, baby! Love how the rider gently rode through it, like "Oh, it's just Gooseneck, nothing special... here, watch me show you how to corner properly!" Fantastic riding and fantastic video!

  • Is the microphone strapped to the piston?

  • Oh and lol @ the inevitable arguments. Reminds me of this pic i saw in then paper. Some bloke is typing away at his computer while is mrs asks him when hes comming to bed, he replies " I cant, someone is wrong on the internet"

Take from that what you will lads, have a good one ;)

  • Good vid, great ride, cheers for the upload mate.

  • very nice riding m8,better than i could do anyway

    fuck the haters

  • Pretty good riding mate, pretty fast, but anyone who can ride can do this, your on a 1000cc that do 200mph, on an open road. long straights, i know its bumpy and im not slating your riding, cause it does take BIg balls to do this on bumpy roads, but6 id match your riding all day.. Check out Guy martin... your know what serious riding is all about.. Still good riding mate...

  • you went over 45mph through the 30mph at ramsey and you nearly took a sign out at waterworks, other than that. that was pretty darn good riding.

  • God damn that's blistering speed! Good show!!!

  • Great video, 187 mph Looked bloody brilliant from my desk anyway, what a rush for you though, jesus!!

    Stay safe mate

    Stu

  • @Pgrant1966 can you do it

  • The speed you were really doing I have done, and it was'nt no ZX10 either.

  • put a sponge or something under your camera. It's way to shocky. Still nice video though, good riding.

  • What time was this done at? looks a good time to get a clear run. Good video horse.

  • mental and ace

  • i would love to ride like this but im sorry my balls are to small

  • How can this be a practice lap? Where are the marshals? There was car parked on the circuit!More like early morning on mad sunday!

  • @samthegreencat47 not practice lap, practice WEEK. First week of the TT, learn to read.

  • i dont give a fuk whether his speedo is accurate or not an all u twats who slated him obviously cant ride properly

    awesome footage,

an u cant deny this guy has fookin massive balls, more than most of you

i take my hat of to him . well done buddy

    stunning piece of riding

  • @louiseann1980 Thanks for the post mate.

  • @louiseann1980 ,well said my m8 ,they all shout a story but this guy rides 1,top ride 4 the guy in front also.zx10.beast ov the street, lol.

  • You do realise that weaving doesn't heat your tyres up as well as accelerating and braking?

  • @TheMrRainey Obviously you aint a proper biker... Id like to know how you warm the sides of your tyres then from excellerating & braking.. Check your front & rear tyres mate if you have a bike.. you will see on your bike, an inch either side of your tyres is still new, meaning you dont get your knee nowhere near the floor... So superbikes & gp bikes dont weave about?

  • @rudy3037 I can assure you that i am a proper biker, done 8 trackdays this year alone so far... i can also assure you that i don't have any chicken strips on the rear tyre on my busa and my gixer!

I can show you plenty of videos of me knee down, but why should i prove myself to you?

You get more heat in your tyres Accelerating and Braking hard... this heats the whole carcass of the tyre including the edges.

  • Oh 8 track days... You must be cal crutchlow then....Smooth tracks.... no blind corners, no walls, lamposts. Fun day out!

  • Respond to this video... Boring! like watching F1 go round a track after 5 laps

  • @rudy3037 then fuck off.

  • @TheMrRainey This is correct, accelerating and braking hard heats the tire, while weaving inspires confidence before a set of corners or clears the tire of debris. Rudy3037 is obviously an overweight dreamer who boosts his ego on the internet, where people can't verify his claims.

  • @rudy3037 Weaving doesn't heat up the tires, accelerating and braking does. Most riders weave to get used to leaning before a set of corners or to clean the tire. Also, you're a squid and can't ride for shit. You wouldn't get a knee down if your life depended on it, unless of course you were sucking someone's dick.

  • MAN!!! You race like that with cars on the road???

  • @alexgeocovers Yeah there were 100's of cars.. Behave......people do 170+ going through cars & overtaking them.. Empty road, anyone who can ride properly can do this with ease.... Ill meet him & he can follow me around, but i dont think he'd be able to stay with me.....

  • impressive riding!!! what year zx10r was that mate?

  • @andy66725 It was a 2008 model mate.

  • Out of curiosity, would you have ridden like this if they hadn't made it one way? And would you ride like this on a dual carriage way in the UK or Ireland?

  • `ive ridden the mountain course many times, this video is authentic and the speeds are impressive

  • Simply the best on bike video i have ever seen going over the mountain, you're the best ever!! RESPECT!!!

  • @rabster351

Thanks for the post. You seem to have change your opinion of this video since your last post 2 months ago.

  • It's been some time since I rode hard. In my more braver times maybe 15 yrs ago I would have given myself a chance around the TT to be pretty quick, but I do feel I've now lost my bottle a little! I knew DJ, rode with him a lot, I know Hutch (good mate), scared him on the back of me once hee hee (but he was only 17 at the time). I don't think I'd like to be his pillion nowadays. This is a cool video, thanks to the technology we get to see this - who cares about the doubters, stay safe mate.

  • Obviously it wasn't your first time on TT hugh? ;) ...nice one mate...B safe

  • Even the camera got scared

  • Do they let you practice b4 the real race?

  • 3 weeks to go guys and girls and it's tt week :) i will see you there and i think im getting that excited (as it's my first tt visit) a little bit of wee dribbled out my willy!!

  • good stuff mate just that camra flashing was bit anoying but was still good and carnt wait for tt agen , am gonna put some vids of me on of tt soon haha have a look at my vidios and comment if you like thanks

  • Any doubts are from ignorance, kids listen, if it looks even remotely fast on cam, your flying!!!!

  • going past those cones on the right the speedo says 95 i ride every day i have ridden and raced all sorts and i really think the speedo isnt right, i dont doubt you got a shift on in parts but somethings not right about that speedo reading and the scenery, i cant make it out but all i can say is thats on kmh

  • @CBRsix looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • @CBRsix The camera operates at a fixed frame rate. The cones are spaced at a certain interval. At speeds which the bike is passing cones which are multiples of the shutterspeed then the appearance will either be of cones flashing past as fast as the true speed or at some speeds look slower than the true speed. If the shutter speed is 50 frames/sec and the cones flash past at 50 times /sec at 80 mph, then at 160 mph the cons will still seem to flash past at 50 times/sec or 80 mph.

  • In laymans terms please.

  • @Pgrant1966 It's called strobing. Like a propellor being filmed seems to stand still or rotate backwards. Like a disco strobe light when you wave your hand it seems to stand still at multiple points. Mobile Phone cameras have lower frame rates so the image may seem jerky. The best cameras for motor sports are high definition, high speed models so that even an on board camera at 200 mph will capture video that appears close to reality with a smooth video. Camera position is important as well.

  • rabster351 what a joke who has to explain to you wheres ur vid ohh yeah u aint got one love this vid someone having a good go thats the spirit of TT

  • Camera bug drove me nuts didn't finish watching it gave up at 3 minutes, not sure if the video problem had anything to do with the problem with the sound.

  • Don't listen to any of the wankers talking smack about your bike. I love my ZX10 and I know it runs to 187, easy money.

  • Quality, nice riding mate !

  • nice ride i,ve got to do the iom some time, but won,t be going that quick

  • I have a ZX10R, and I like speed... but honestly... don't think I would ever have the balls to ride on the road like this :)

  • really enjoyed this footage...damn, i really need to put more effort in and pracitce. Well done lads, great form. Enjoyed every minute and will re watch it many more times. Cheers.

Andrew (from the land of Oz)

  • good vid . i am missing it this year been the last 4 times ,and the run over the mountain is pure biking heaven. love it , stop at creg na baa fag then back roads to ramsey to do it all over again ;-) . best bit of road in the world .

  • wow what that must feel like.

  • 187mp/h at 3:47

  • 3:30 skip to the part you want to see

  • Comment removed

  • @rabster351

Funniest post ive had. You must have carl fogarty syndrome. One of those, any thing you can do i can do better idiots. Cant wait to see your video. And for your information the gearing was standard.

  • @richardfromage67 dude I don't think he can read it clearly says "PRACTICE WEEK"

  • sick as fuck :3

  • Nice vid, its a hell of a ride over that mountain and nowhere near as flat as it should be

  • great. now i wanna take a ride.

  • Brilliant video and riding mate. You've got skill and nerve. Liked the wheelies on the way up. Look forward to seeing more after TT 2011

  • 6am just read it, thanks again, roll on TT 2011

  • Thanks for the video, what time was it when you recorded this??

  • iv dun 160 on the motorway an thought fook me this is fast....! but it takes Big balls to do 187 on roads like in your vid ! mint ride...and good luck on the next vt !!!

  • Are you sure............lol

  • viDolini87 ok ok if you look i have had the awnser !!!! 6 days ago lol

  • Have not been to the TT for years what are all the cones on the road for.

  • Good skills

  • oh my god im so jealous right now nice ride

  • @09zx10rr Thanks very much

  • @richardfromage67

Yeah thanks very much for encouraging other people to come over and ride like complete tossers on our roads..

  • @MrDodderz

You are most welcome. If all the racing stopped on YOUR Island. Can you tell me how much money would be LOST from your Islands gross annual economy. I take it you have been living on the Island since the start of its motor racing history (or mabe not). It makes me laugh when people like you moan. Its like people living near an airport but they want to stop planes from flying. Have a nice day.

  • @richardfromage67

I'm sorry but what does the islands anual income have to do with riding like a pratt? Using that as an excuse just isn't going to wash, I'm sorry. I'm a great supporter of the TT and a number of my friends are ex racers or compete each year. I'm a rider myself though we respect how dangerous the Mountain road and would never try and blag 180mph+ on a public road, inconsiderate much?. I'm just saying those speeds should be reserved for people actually competing in the TT.

  • @MrDodderz There is a big differance between riding or driving like a tosser and riding at speed, ive seen lots of prats couse mayhem at 30 mph, and what this gent is demonstraiting is a very high standered of bike control that requires a lot of consentration and skill. he is not on his mobile phone while changing the CD and setting the heater, hes showing total focus on the road.

  • @tak1m

Good post. but i dont think mrdodderyolegit will understand. you can please some of the people some of the time, but there aint no pleasing him.

  • @MrDodderz If that were the case why is there no speed limit inforced?

  • kph right not mph?

  • @hottunes007 Its MPH mate. you can see if you look at the clocks.

  • @hottunes007 ok dude ..... zx10r - and sure not stock ..... 6 gear full acc . 180 kph ? xD your funny

  • @hottunes007

Look at the speed and you see its not kph... Speedo could be off though...

  • Wow nice ride........................

  • @sfusyron Thanks mate

  • i ride a ten speed schwinn this guy isnt faking

  • manx TT is my all time favourite motorsport...

TT racers are the most fearless riders on the planet ! utmost respect !!

  • yeah this guy knows how to ride :P

hell, if he would teach me the ropes, i'd buy him a camera that doesn't make the youtube community want to kill themselves.

  • @shize9ine

No need to by a new camera. If you read the text that goes with this vid you will see that we have sorted the camera out. you should do some track days, that will sharpen up your riding skills.

  • By the power of Greyskull! Impressive.

  • The vid looks real enough. I would however doubt the accuracy of a Japanese bike's speedo. They're known to over estimate the speed by up to 10-15%. Still, it looks like the guy's doing over 160 mph either way. Unless he's got a speedo healer, I doubt the 187 mph indicated. My old Gixxer 1100 showed 310 km/h on the clock one morning on the highway. I went home took out the workshop manual and checked the gear ratios and I got a true speed of just under 265 km/h doing the maths. Nice vid mate.

  • had my best run in the morning, though at 7am. 6am is a tad early. must get up early next time i think.

    STUNNING road.

  • LOL. Nice ridin bud. Ignore the turd biscuiters. I head over the mountain every day on my commute to work, this vid is every bit the real thing.

  • @man710r

Thanks mate. Looking forward to 2011

  • Nicely done, dickcheese!

  • @vehemental Thanks mate :)

  • Hey. what time was it, when u filmed it, 5 am? :S

  • @tompwh It was about 6 in the morning that this run was filmed mate.

  • 5.40 thought he was passing but the other guy had something else on his mind lol

aye guy's definetley balls of steel for this one, great footage.
