Monte and his band are really nice guys. I've seen them 10 times, soon to be 11 and maybe 13 if everything goes as planned this summer. They always stay after the show, chat, take pics, and sign stuff for everyone in line. Monte won't leave until each of his fans are taken care of. He's an extraordinary musician and a really great guy. Go check 'em out, you won't be sorry.

This guy is great but I met him in person at a music store I worked at and he and the bass player were huge douche bags..the drummer was cool..but the other two were just ass holes...but he still can play the shit outa guitar

Thats kind of funny because I've talked with him multiple times and he was nothing like a douche bag!! You are probably the ONLY person who I have ever heard saying something like that about him. He is always friendly, nice, willing to talk, take pictures, sign autographs, etc.

Had the same experience at a show in PA. Drove three hours for him to only play one hour. Complained about his bass player that couldn't make it, and blew off anyone that tried to talk to him after. Don't think I'll be making any more trips.

Yeah, you really must have done something to piss them off. They've never been anything short of friendly to anyone that I've seen. The first time that I met him, I asked him what gauge strings that he was using and he went on about his guitar forever. He loves talking about guitars, I can't imagine him not wanting to talk guitars with anyone.

Great song. Hopefully it will be on the next studio CD, personally if it is, I would want Brian singing his part, adds a little spice to the song. Either way, it is time for a studio CD. Dale Pitts

Yes, this is an original Monte tune. There is also another video of him playing it here on you tube with Brian Andrew Lee singing lead.

Monte and Brian were in a band together named Kudzu Karnival for awhile. They wrote this song together while at a Mexican restaurant.
