Damn man, the halo 2 clip brought back memories of hours spent on that map alone. Yelling "BR3!" "Blue2!" "Library!" And then learning all of these advanced techs and applying them. ie. feeling like a badass when you get the game winning kill in suicide room with no shields with a BxR to the fool who thought you were done for.

It's a shame they closed down the servers for the best iteration of multiplayer warfare ever made.

When waveshining is there any reason why you continually flick the analog stick? Couldn't you just hold it in place?

what happens when you wavedash while holding the control stick down? Nothing, you jump, then airdodge back to where u started out.

all a wave shine in is a shine, followed by a wavedash. nothing more, shine, do a wavedash. its a bit confusing cos there is a time limit but thats all there is too it

I may be wrong, but shouldnt the combo keep going up when you do a drill shine correctly? when the combo resets the opponent can attack

yeah youre right. the reason for that is because my controller is really old and loose so yeah. but yeah if you do it correctly it is suppose to be continuous.

I'm a bit confused. I understand the principals behind waveshining and drillshining but it would be awesome if you made a video that gives the button combos for them or at least how you're comboing the different moves together to achieve the effect.

I'd just like to point out that this is being done on training mode. Some people prefer to use the C-Stick for most aerials, especially in drillshines. Maybe include a C-Sticked portion?

Overall though, I'm not capable of doing this without a C-Stick so very impressive. :$

i wont say bad things about this vid, its good and all but when u drillshine notice that the consecutive hits always resets meaning they can get out of that drillshine there´s a vid called crazy fox look for it an check out some real waveshine, there´s no xplaining though

i have a question, how do you not hit the a button when sliding your thumb across to hit b... it confuses me when people say "slide" i just wanted to know because i'm adequate fox/falco user, but i can't waveshine properly, plz explain!

uumm.. i just use the tip of my thumb so that i dont hit anything but B. you should always use the tip of your thumb for B and Y, it helps me alot. hope this helps.

its called a double shot, you can do it with the battle rifle the best. You need to press RRX YY RRX. If done properly it is a useful advantage.

you could tap the X lightly and then press L in any diagonal direction. or try doing it in training mode and put the speed really slow and then put it up everytime and practice from there. hope that helps.

uhhh, if you have that problem you could go in training mode and put it really fast, or really slow, and youll see the difference in speed when waveshining. thats what i did to practice before I did it on players.

it all depends on what button you like better, if you like R use R, and if you like L than use L. I prefer L though.

damn, your fingers are too fast for the drillshining, for me to see what you're doing. you use X to jump then? i always use Y but i don't know of any techniques or good ways to do it using Y for jump, because everyone i see uses X.

the way I do it is b, then move my thumb up to Y and make a pinching movement to get R right after Y. Roll the control stick from the bottom to a little more than halfway to the right.

yo dude, my problem with waveshining is when i shine i hit them back too far and i have to wavedash multiple times before i shine again and if i try it on a human they get out of it really easily. also a lot of the time i won't shine and i'll do a b sideways which is the flash speed thing. but anyways thanks.

You can only repetitively waveshine certain characters. Also it could be that your wavedash isn't perfected enough and you need the full length.

lol, ya only falco can uair during a waveshine combo because it doesnt send him high and then after the hit you can start another combo. i might make a new one...
