  • hey in my cpu there is no screw in the fan it seems that its fixed or something like that can someone please help me?

  • what the

  • all expert village video always not in HD

  • Will it help my comp lag less, cause my fan is dusty as heck

  • Can of air....never once bought them....have shop air in my garage dial it down to 25 pounds and works fine and 1 30 pound tank cleans all 3 of my computers at a cost of 20 cents or so them cans of air are stupid in price.

  • Hi Great Video, Could you tell me or anyone please, i seem to have a problem with my HP Dv6T laptop, first of all the main problem is that the fan seems to be running quite loudly but when i put my hand near the vent i can feel air coming out so i dont think its cleaning issue, #however as soon as i change power schemes from say Power Saver to HP Recommended the fan starts immideatley and keeps running and immediately as soon as i switch back it goes to normal.Any solutions appreciated.thank

  • @attas45 probably your battery is dying. thats what happened to my laptop. before it died the finger mouse thing was burning my fingers and it wouldnt turn on anymore.

  • DUDE the reason why you shold hold the fan is so it dosnt act like a wind turbine and send power back to the motherboard and blow caps and smd resistors -.- `

  • Poor and jealous expert didn't have a vacuum cleaner.

  • nice red fan!

  • hold on

    is that lighter gas?

  • @ghjgdjgyd no its compressed air

  • @joeruckasnucka ohhh

  • epic fail

  • Thanks for this, I got my CPU cleaned up I took the heatsink out and washed it under the tap. My toothbrush tastes disgusting now though and has a gritty texture when i brush my teeth.

  • @sinjinsmythe1 funny thing : have 2 tooth brushes 1 for teeth and 1 for cleaning fans or other intricate things

  • Comment removed

  • 53 People cleaned there computer this way =D

  • rk8-8fd3a-d2-gp do that model for me i don't wanna break the clippers holding the fan off =S their so stiff and it has NO SCREWS !! its from Cooler Master - rk8-8fd3a-d2-gp

  • @ndibarra Using some good ol scotch tape on the fans to prevent them from moving and using a air compressor to clean gives a much better, faster, and thorough cleaning. Cans of compressed air is for people with too much money.

  • why not just dunk the fan in water?? i mean its only a fan right?? no electronic stuff on it or anything.

  • @ich3ro and what propels that fan? maybe a small electric engine?

  • I havnt seen a single good video from expert village yet

  • Hey, that's my toothbrush!

  • ive never seen a bigger hack job than this guy. somebody teach this guy how to di his job right

  • hi my comp turns off and on what can it be please help.

  • @81psychomemo try making sure the heat sink is screwed/clamped in properly, dust free and the fan(s) plugged in

try checking ur HDD/RAM is plugged in

    a fuse burst

device (eg cd/dvd, floppy disk, video card)error

  • thermaltakefans!!!! i hate it -.- there go on fire in every f****ing special amd case

  • question if my comp turns on an off by itself already is it to late 2 clean my fan?

  • @cloud6531 probably your power suplly has a problem

  • wtf.... i couldnt even see the video some stupid text was in the way the entire video! i wanted to see what you were doing lol!

  • @JordaNeale See that Red "CC" icon on youtube right next to the 240p? Click it.... =)

  • @JordaNeale thats because captions were on click the "cc" button next to the "240p^" button to turn them off

  • @JordaNeale You can disable annotations

  • and mouthwash for a fresh cleaning

  • @kraftdinner18

    Awesome man!! hahaha!!

  • Dank dem beschissenen Text sieht man auch sehr viel vom Video!

  • Un der ganze Staub verteilt sich wo anders im Pc dank der LFasche Luft. Sehr Sinnvoll.

  • compressed air and a VERY soft toothbrush. That's MY solution.

  • @JackBandicootsBunker

    hahaha!!

  • hive my frige back !!!!!!

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Make a tutorial on how to spitshine shoes...

Expert village fails epicly in everything they do, put this guy back to his chinese kitchen restaurant and don't make more videos about stuff you dont know shit about.

  • @shigalbigal

    hahahaha!! :D

  • wtf

  • to his thing if turns too fast it might break i tried to break it with an air compressor it was spinning insane! connect the power and it started spinning just like normal

  • why dnt u jst use compressed air? dumbass.

  • hehehehehhehehe he brushes the fan's tooth

  • cleaning the fan is nothing if your cpu burns, the air should get to it. clean up the aluminum radiator first!

  • my asssss

  • Is this how they clean CPUs in Inuviq?

  • You should get linus xD

  • what is that called? the one you where using its kinda wind spray or someting? what do you call that?

  • @bayandsl

don't listen to that guy dude... he lying.. STATIC ELECTRICITY FTW

  • @bayandsl a Compressed Gas/Air Duster.

  • expert village is a joke easy stuff village man this is easy stuffs

  • a small towel would be faster

  • @licardo7 i lol'd

  • Yeah thats it, spray all that dust right into the computer case...

  • shoot short bursts of air or the recoil will get too high and you will miss.

  • Lmfao a toothbrush? rly?

  • it's bearings, not "barrens".

  • I would get the worst off first with a brush, then use the air can to get the hard to reach last.

  • 0:52

  • you can clean that 5x faster, and better, with a soft bristle paint brush say 2" wide.....and probably, btw, quite a lot less dust will enter your lungs and/or be redeposited inside the case or, for that matter, land on your dinner plate.

  • Boha ved zober kompresor a vifúkaj ho nie?

  • Tx for the help

  • Might be good not to blow the dust back into the computer while you're at it.

And a camel hair brush (small paint brush) would be better than a toothbrush.

  • i noticed "expert village" and just think "uh it's probably gonna be suck"... and YES its suck!!!

    JUST USE VACUUM CLEANER!!!

it just do what you want - clean things!

don't spread all this dirt in air and breath it.

if you inhale it it gonna be in your lungs!

  • @odv000 true ;)

but you can take the case to your balcony and use a hair blower (thats what i do)

you dont have to pay for that "canned air" crap eveyr time!

  • @odv000

vacum cleaner = static, unless you get one just for pc's & compress air if good to.

  • so compressed air static too.

but actually vacuum cleaner can't pruduce mutch static and chips are more robust than you think or whole computer becomes garbage if cat walk near it.

  • @odv000

not the kind in a can they made for pc cleaning, off a compressor yeah static but thats not gonna happen unless you crazy.

  • LOL! why?

you should not listen to advertising too mutch.

thanks god the laws of physycs don't depend on money and advertising and all this comertial crap.

I mean if moving air causes friction and friction causes static you could pay 10$ or 10000000$ for that can or just use vacuum cleaner it always be the same. But with vacuum cleaner you will not breath dust or spread durt around you.

  • @odv000 the make non-vacuums, and i said they have pc vacuums.

  • @odv000

when you take the A+ test thats what they say to use too. anti static vac or compressed air.

  • @odv000 The case keeps it grounded, but using a vacuum is not advised. It is like playing Russian Roulette with your motherboard.

  • Does a Dirty CPU slow it down?

  • no but it might cause over heat...

  • LOL. I use Paint brush to clean my old com stock cpu cooler.

  • celan the heatsink instead of tha fan

  • I remember using air in a can to flush dust out of an old servers Geforce 8600 GTS, the cat was passing by along the other end and got sprayed with dust, all I heard was a loud sneeze. Poor stupid thing. xD

  • My own experiences tells me that air in a spraycan and blowing with your lungs is unecessary, just remove the fan from the heatsink and wipe the dust from the fan blades with a clean cloth. Do this on both sides of the fan blades properly and you are ready to go!

  • he said he is a freelance pc repairman for 5 years... AND HE DIDNT EVEN NOTICE THE CPU COOLER FAN IS IN THE WRONG DIRECTION~ ZZZ~ phail~

and expert village even uploaded this "TECH" video~

  • LOLOL Didn't notice that.

  • hes a pc fuckedupman for 5 years :P

  • What a wa**ker! he's blowing all the crap back into the computer!

  • lolol

  • if your like me dude and dont have the money to buy a new computer take care of what you got like i do don't give people stupid advice i baught a computer from my sisters school used in 2005 and it still runs good to this day

  • ive had mine since 2002 or so and it runs perfectly, ive never clean it or anything though... i really think i should

  • dumb fuck

  • I was cleaning my old computer and had a Microsoft Lifecam VX-5000 cliped on the side of the case recording it, and I forgot to unplug the computer for some reason and I hit the power button and the webcam fell off and slamed into the CPU fan!!! The webcam still works but one of the blades broke off the fan... I thought it would still work.... I put it vertically again and turned it on and the fan vibrated so much that the computer fell apart on the inside :-( I need to buy a new CPU fan...

  • lol i bet you was mad ow did the blade on the fan break???

  • OK so I had just part of the case off and was taking some of the things out too heavy for compressed air like huge balls of dust, and I was amazed at all of the dust! I wanted to document it so I took my webcam which is a Microsoft Lifecam VX-5000 (look at pics on Google) and it was on the side of the computer. I left it there accidentally and I turned the computer on which the fan then knocked (with the air) the cam into the fan and there was a loud pop. I turned it off and there was a blade.

  • Ran out of room on the last comment:

There was a blade on the other end of the motherboard. I just took it out and set it on the floor. I also removed the still working lifecam VX-5000. I didn't think it would matter but I turned the PC back on and there was a loud vibration again and I noticed that the fan was shaking rapidly and was falling off and knocking other things into pieces like the RAM chips and things... Well it is a 6 year old computer anyway...

    Thanks for asking!

  • well did you salvage anywoking parts

  • Yes. The RAM is just damaged. It still works. The computer is in pieces in shoeboxes in my closet for now. Maybe I'll add the parts to my HP or Mac.

  • All you got to do is break the adjacent blade off the CPU fan and it will balance out and be fine. I have had to do that in field repairs where you dont have the right fan available and you need to have a computer up and running 5 minutes ago. lol

As for the memory, no jerry-rig tip I can give ya there.

  • maybe a hair dryer would work, one that has a cold setting

  • this takes to long i just take it out to the garage and sray the whole computer case with a compressor

  • @alektheboy Yes, but you can't get into all the small nooks and crannies. You really only need to do this once in a great while. Besides, using a compressor could blow dust, dirt, metal chips/rust, etc. into the computer.

  • @xG33Kx actually the air inside a compressor is cleaner than the outside since the compressor has a filtering system for the protection of its pump.

the only danger is that you can accidentally break something with the high air pressure

  • @alektheboy How do you "sray" with a compressor, we should be told.

  • @alektheboy True, but this process makes everything cleaner.

  • hmm, why is there an oreck ad on the side of this page?

  • doesnt it make easier if you just remove the fan and disconnect it to avoid for it to spin too much and fry the circuit

  • imo, Cleaning out the heat sink is more important than cleaning the fan.

obviously both should be done, but you must prioritise

  • I usualy just drop it on a hard surface. All the dust comes out and is left on the table. It doesn't spread through the room but stays together.

  • Would it be alright to just clean it with Q-Tips?

  • can't you just dip it in water?

  • i use a new paintbrush to clean cpu cooling,

  • I just use my existing vacuum cleaner and possibly a needle or toothpick.

  • my fan has no screws

  • Relaxing listening to this guy haha.

  • thats a cool computer! Liquid cooling AND a cpu fan! Sexy!

  • ahh having the fan clean is not near as important as having a clean heatsink

  • If you use a reach tooth brush Next time you don't have to remove anything! LOL!

  • audio is way too quiet

  • burn your computer so there will be no problem of cleaning. HAHAHAHA

  • you still have to clean the ashes though.. :))

  • and toothpaste?!? WHERE'S TOOTHPASTE????????

  • look in your bathroom !? ...

  • xD ....

  • Take the case outside.

  • hahaha....

"You don't want to spin the fan too fast"

It's a ball bearing fan you twit...I'm pretty sure it spins faster normally than a bit of compressed air can push it...

    ^.^

  • You're the twit, mate. If you spin the fan it'll create a current. That's the most basic GCSE physics.

You spin it with air and it'll fry the circuit, that's why he's stopping it spinning.

  • lmao the dust went back to the case :P

  • true

  • lmao dude u make me laugh u right i can c that

  • lol all the geek comments here make them look jealous.

  • just youse a air house you don't need to take anny thing out she will blow the dust gone

  • omg rofl these videos are hilarious

  • Next video: How to clean your ass.

    (Sponsored by Charmin Tissue)

  • ... Expert village just fails all the time huh

  • Way to go blowing all that dust back into the case.

  • hey the main concept of this video is how to clean a cpu fan, and he is showing how to clean it. as u suckers said that he is blowing dust back into cabin then u most thinking to take it away from cpu then u must be really dumb genius because u cant remove ur cpu fan always when ur cleaning it ,if u do it instead of cleaning u might end up damaging ur pc

  • how to clean a fan intel clip intel chip fan

  • hahaa ur blowing ur dust into cast tht dousnt clean it

  • LOL

  • Next video: How to clean the room.

  • what a genius lmao common sense

  • As long as the fan is loose, you might as well use the toothbrush to take the dust off.

  • LOL yeah right back into the case

  • on amd its alot of harder

  • Well I take apart my stuff and I pull out all the fans and use moist Q tips dipped in alcohol to really scrub that dirt and dust off...My stuff may be old but it looks like new! and I don't hear my PC running right now...fyi Be careful! don't let the alcohol drip on anything!

  • I take my CPU fan off every once in a while to clean it, the heatsink, and the entire tower. It's takes me about 2 runs of this video to get everything done. Need to move a bit faster...

  • bullshit!

  • Takes too long! Honestly i just take my tower outside and put a leaf blower to it! LOL. Works great and doesn't seem to damage anything considering it still works :P.

  • lol nice

  • wow leaf blower your REALLY careful.. lol

  • haha I use a hair dryer (Cold setting of course :P)

  • lol i used my hover on it once, didn't think it may cause static lol

  • yeah he should mention u do this only if ur going to be doing this occasionally if u want it super clean do it the old fashion way hes lazy the old fashion way is so much better

  • These videos don't work so well, because all these CPU cooler systems are very different, so these instructions won't apply to many people.

  • boring!
