@momay69 - It's strong enough for the body at least. Buttons are a little wiggly though, not a big deal.

@OrthadoxUn - I use it for all my RPG games and games that require a lot of buttons, no so much shooters but works . . . mostly for big hands.

I can see the paint is rubbing off. That's my biggest complaint about both version of the mouse. I have the older version and most of the paint has rubbed off making it feel and look bad.

ok so, I'm playing aion and the buttons won't work in Aion only button 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9 are working, anyone know how to fix the other buttons also working?

@GICTechTV - For me I don't like a number pad on the side of the mouse . . . this gives you less of a chance of pressing the buttons and feels natural with all the groves. However . . . it is larger by a lot than the naga . . . so unless you have small hands . . . I would get this mouse.

@GICTechTV If you haven't buyed a new mouse the build on the cataclsym mouse is very comfortable, i just bought it today and feel good with it, MANY of my wow-playing friends said likke no dont buy it its not comfortable to hold in your hand but anyway i bought it and its ALOT comfortable so i would give you a go with this mouse for MMORPG's. @SwaggaJee69 - For the first dragon age game to can assign certain magic and team attack commands without clicking on it. Not so much for dragon age 2 since they made it a more hack in slash game.

@sakurachanism - This mouse is designed for those that play mmo's or RPG type games. I have no real issues with it other than its large size. For shooters I recommend either the rat7, razer deathadder or mionix naos 5000

Hows the weight compareing to the Deathadder? and how are you finding the chrome painting on the mouse? does it wear off easily? cuz i hear the original wow mouse had that issue.

can you tell me what material is that armor looking top surface? is it also mat-rubber like at the sides? why you say it's not good for fps games? the only thing i can imagine is those thumb buttons (if you accidentally hit them while turning fast)...

I have improved my game with the mouse in TF2, but i'd rather use an Ikari for that. What is that gunk on your mouse? It can't be fading after a few days, hmmm. Mine has a WoW emblem in middle.

I like it kinda, but I think I would have preferred the naga. I bought the best buy repair plan on it though, so im keeping it around for a good while even if i do buy a naga. It has improvd my wow game for sure though.

Did you grind the logo off your mouse? I been wanting to get this mouse but I refuse to look at that WoW logo when I don't even play that game. Also, why isnt this mouse good for FPS? The weight of it? The Dpi?

@wardog3d - It just feels large and your hand is more spread out . . . but I did do a custom paper sanding on the mouse for not only taking off the logo but to add a rough texture so when your hands sweat the mouse still feels dry.

@l33tbakubrawler I can't ether put it on my toon, jsut wait because hey changed the wow armory site, so it can't detect your toon.

I suggest you enable the in-game customization. then go in your wow game , open up the menu and go to interface, go to mouse tab a the bottom and check: detect wow mouse or something like that than you can change the buttons directly from the game ( where you change normally the commands like walk/Run etc...)

100$ is too much for this crap. feels like 5$ mouse. For mmo its ok i think because the Macros but you have the Rat 7, why need a other one? No real gamer will buy this mmo mouse. Why? Because you use your keyboard for your makros not the mouse. There are a lot better ....Deathadder 45$ or if you have the money rat7 100$.

But DONT buy this crap!

I have a Deathadder and i cant say it's the best mouse and thats cuz of the lack of extra buttons.

Using keyboard only for abilities/spells and macros wont work all the time, for having a mouse with some extra buttons is awesome for those spells/abilities that is being used alot.

@KallumMcKeeTV1 - If you like most of the buttons at your thumbs then go for the Naga . . . and its smaller. I like it more spread out . . . also a low chance of pressing a wrong button.

@Geoffroydimur - I just used normal sandpaper and black paint but when you use the black paint . . . after dipping it in . . . brush it off a little bit on paper so that it's not so thick. Wanted to go for a scratched armor look . . .

Really good review! I'm wondering why this video has only 114 Views!!! He stated the main flaws about this mouse. Many reviews that I watch, the person who's talking about the item normally mentions the positive stuff and doesn't talk about negative stuff that much. You mention to lift the mouse up with your thumb. I don't think at any time should you lift your mouse up with your thumb. I use a G9 from Logitech and Set the DPI a little under 5000 and it feels great. My screen is 1920x1200 and I don't have the lift the mouse up. As for the steel series, I tried it and the CPI doest work. When I set it to 5000, nothing really happens as in no changes. Any tips would be appreciated. Good review overall. :)

@EliteWhiteTiger33 - The Naga is a smaller mouse and a little heaver but requires you to use more of your thumb . . . I like to use my other fingers when playing RPGs, so if you like the Naga go for it, I have not tried it myself but I'm happy with what this is offering . . . just wish it had weights . . . maybe i'll open it and add some . . . lol
