This ride, along with Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, are the two best rides currently at Disney parks anywhere in the world, in my opinion. Both have terrific queue's, fantastic theming and atmosphere, great sound, and awesome animatronic beasts at the climax. The Matterhorn, Space Mountain, and Indiana Jones are now yesterday's news, as far as I'm concerned. They are still great, but they have certainly been topped by these two.

@Kurozuguchi I think Indiana Jones in Anaheim is still a game competitor. But Journey is one of my two most favorite Disney rides anywhere (the other being 20,000 Leagues, also in Tokyo). I love the Verne theme and the nice mix of dark ride and thrill ride.

Beautiful ride footage!! I love this ride, and hope to ride it for the first time someday soon. The images are so clear compared to every other video I've seen. Great work! Even though it gets extremely bright when the drop comes, I love the interior footage... the giant mushrooms, insects, lizards, glowing plants, waterfalls. It's awesome!
