Dr Soon (PhD) was the author of one of the most poorly-written papers on global temperatures ever. If it was an undergraduate paper, it would have been returned with an F. Its a sorry state of affairs that 'scientists' like Soon here are put in the spotlight as 'scientists who disagree with climate change'.

This institute has been exposed. Moeny for opinion the same way as it denied smoking causes cancer. Check out Climate Change Misconceptions, Part 1 and 2. The cooling is based on 1998 onwards, this video exposes that as cherry picking. 1998 was one of the warming years on record. Try 1900 onwards and see the real story. Check out the ocean temperature and ice thickness data and you will feel sick that an organisation like this can make it a political argument.

There maybe only 400 ppm of CO2 but it is the primary GHG the other atmospherics gases - N2, O2, Ar, etc are not GHGs

@drkstrong Water vapor is the primary GHG followed by methane. CO2 is a distant 3rd.

@umilmi81 Water vapor is a SECONDARY GHG which means its concentration in the atmosphere cannot increase or decrease unless the temperature changes first (look up the equation that determines humidity levels)
Thus H20 can only magnify changes in the other PRIMARY GHGs.
While CH4 is a more effective GHG than CO2 there is very much less of it and it decays quite quickly in the atmosphere into, guess what? CO2.
