@phatmattd if you can take it apart you can put it back in. Prying those tires off are much harder than putting them in anyway.

If you can't figure out how to put in a new tire in a reverse order at this point, may as well not do it.

When you're riding in moderate terrain, XC, etc. you should have your seat more on less how the roadies have it. You want to be able to extend your leg to get a good stroke, but there should only be a slight bend at full extension. Obviously, on more aggressive terrain when you're out of a the saddle a lot more, you'll want to drop the post down.

Those brakes are reeeeeetro man.

You forgot how to replace the tube by slightly inflating it prior to remounting it. You should also suggest to your beginninger audience to carry an extra tube and pump.

actually we do, i bought a mongoose from a dept store about 4 years ago and it had the quick release. and to be honest its been a great bike. ive put more miles on it than i have my car over the course of 4 years
