  • I love this! The way he is displaying his wings near the end almost looks like he is guarding his territory from some unknown threat. Fascinating to watch.

  • haha my parrot does the exact same thing with quite a few sounds! hes so so funny.

  • he's amazing!

  • i have NEVER seen an animal keep a rythem before! you need to see that the scientific comunity knows about this! ^_^

  • My parrot toby does that! when im hovering or ratteling a bag!

  • enjoyed watching, he has beautiful colours and is displaying them well...lol he is beautiful.....

  • your parots the best i hope he lives as long as jesus can so we can watch videos of him

  • lol :)

  • Poncho is so funny! I am in love with your videos of him - what a good friend he must be :)

  • Haha my sister's Nanday does almost the same dance! He spreads his wings out a little, flufs up and wabbles back and fourth reaaalllly slow while pinning! It's so cute hehe.

    And I love your bird!

  • Maybe he is in love with the drawer? Doing a mating dance for it? lol

  • freaky and cool :). nice parrot ya got

  • Haha, really cool, and bizarre. How did you discover that?

  • Wow, he's got good rythym! (better than my spelling lol!) I love your vids of him!

  • Haha, I love at the end when you stop sliding the drawer he's like "what, i wasn't doing anything" like little kids do when you catch them doing something.

  • lol he looks so chilled out

  • i don't think that's background music.. to me it sounds more like a load of laundrey

  • Maybe you should read the description......duh.

  • lol i have a cockatiel and he does wierd things like this too. would love a parrot someday, so much smarter :)

  • I think that's parrots' form of Tai Chi. My Umbrella Cocatoo used to do strange dances and movements sometimes that reminded me of martial arts forms, a moving meditation.

  • What IS that trance like state? My red-headed Amazon used to do that if raindrops beat heavily against the window!

  • I have a Double Yellow Head too, Goldie. He goes into a similar "trance" sort of thing whenever I have the water running in the kitchen. I noticed it originally when I would wash out his bowls and give him fresh water. It's hillarious to see. He spreads his wings, rocks back and forth and gets really quiet.

  • the background noise is bad for the bird and bad for us watchers who want to see the parrot. play some classical or soft music for the parrot, instead of screwing with its small brain with that bad background music

  • that's the whole point of the video. it's a drawer sliding back and forth, not music. it says it in the info.

  • thts beautiful... loves his wings!!

  • i would love to buy ur parrot willing to sell it?

  • Beautiful Amazon.

  • What a cutey!
