  • I wish you goodluck.

  • These are fucking AWFUL... I had one done to me and the nurses said out of everyone they have ever had they have never heard someone in as much pain as I was... I never want to donate some again it's sooooo bad but I guess people out there need healthy BM so what can you do :-

  • I see how strong he is through all of this and it makes me hope that I can be at least half as strong for my bone marrow biopsy! I've been freaked out about it! Way to go- you are soooo strong!

  • Be strong little man praying for you and your family, god bless.

  • good job Joey .your such a brave boy . how are you doing these days ?

  • This really sucks. My brother was diagnosed with luekemie in 1972 and died in 1974. I wnt with him for his bone marrow tests and let me tell you it was horrible. I was not allowed in the room with him but could hear him screeming throughout the clinic. It was terrible. To this day I have such a problem with any test that has to be done to me because of what my brother went through.

  • poor sweetie I hope he is still fighting and cured.

  • there's something really sad about seeing these kids in these videos....although this is a treatment to save their lives,,,it's the whole cancer thing and how unfair it is that kids suffer too.

  • @68buickwildcat I couldn't agree more. Also, there's the fact that the medical community is still using a 1940's treatment in the 21st Century. That in and of itself is mind-blowing. :(

  • this whoman is not a hoe for your information

  • the nurse has to wer gloves so th boy dont get contamanation for protection ok so that the nurse dont get priked they have to wer goles to when giving chemo cus thers toxic chemical in ther can can hrm the nurse if not weing gloves or if it dripes on hear

  • OMFG is he not put to sleep?!?!?!

  • NONE OF THIS WHORES IS WEARING GLOVES...I DONT CARE IF ITS A NEW BORN BABY I WOULD WEAR GLOVES TO AVOID GIVING THE PETIENTS MY GERMS AND BACTERIAS AND TO AVOID GETTING ANY TOO FROM THE PATIENT

  • It's so good that they let you be knocked out during this ... And you know, as a nursing student, I have no idea why the nurse didn't wear gloves... And as someone who's been through it, I wish you the best!!

  • Wow, that must hurt too. Brave boy!

  • How is Joey today?

  • I'm happy to see they use sedation - so many don't - kudos to hopkins for doing this !

  • i wish Joey well! Why is the nurse not wearing gloves??????

  • @icemom09 When starting IV's there isn't really much danger of the person starting it causing an infection. Gloves are really just for personal protection against blood borne pathogens. I'm sure this nurse is very experienced, and not worried about getting any blood on her.

  • You did great, Joey!! We thank the Good Lord such tests are available for you. Praying the worst is over for you now, Joe. Love from Grandma Carol and Grandpa Dick in Long Beach, California
