I don't know what game you are playing, but 2600 is not a big deal. In this video i had 2445 in caster form. Add 30% of 868 willpower and 4% from "Master Shapeshifter" - and here we are.

... I had my doubts after I saw you use the aoe starfire twice, when the cooldown does not make that possible. I also noticed at no point were you getting the curse that anzu gives which takes away 50% of your health randomly. This might be an old video...but I play a VERY geared boomkin and followed your method exactly 6 times without success. Ive never had an issue clearing the room, but when it comes to the actual Anzu fight, that instant curse always gets me. I have to go bear to kill :(
The 'Glyph of Starfall' reduced the cooldown to 1 minute in this video. But it's not a must-have, casting Hurricane the second time works pretty well too.
The debuff is tricky. As long as you decurse it *before* you cast, it deals no damage. You have to stop casting (pressing "ESC" or making a step forward). In this video there where 4 debuffs:
you should really have posted this with the word solo in the title, i know lots of ppl who would want to see this video. gj man, sparked my interest in trying to solo this old boss again to farm that mount.

Update the stats because with buffs your maybe 2600 SP, but no chance without your 2600.

6:24 - canceled "Regrowth"
7:14 - canceled "Wrath"
8:01 - D'oh!

17600 hp, 20500 mana, 2600 spellpower, 17% crit, 453 haste, hitcaped, wearing 2 pc T8.5 pre 3.3 nerf.
like i said in the description, my balance gear sucks hard (ok, not anymore, thanks to 3.3's triumph badges =))
