The trick to button mashing is to alternate between two fingers. Takes a bit of dexterity and timing, but if you can do it, you can reach speeds much faster than what anyone could do with one finger. This is much easier if you have an arcade style controller.

The gurney level isn't easy, but it's not that hard either--You have more than enough warning where the blockades are. But if you do hit one, it can seriously mess you up.

All those flagpole levels, on the other hand, are a real pain in the ass...

It is a little heavy on the button mashing though. The weight (Indiana Jones) episode is pretty much unplayable unless you pause the game and work it out on paper for about twenty minutes.

Use your index and middle finger on the X button at the same time, you'll get the button pressed more often, faster, and with less stress on your arm.

Or use your thumb. Keep it pressed down, and barely lift it. Start like that, switch to the tip, then to the index finger + middle finger tactic.

Yeah that elevator part is hard... Actually, after playing this game time after time, since I made this video, I've discovered an easy way to get past those parts. So... if you ever play this game again,

Get a pencil with an eraser at the bottom and use it to press the x button. It's actually a lot easier than using your finger or thumb. lol. Wish I would have thought of that earlier!!! :P
