  • Strange physics’ contradiction

    1

    On the one hand :

The particles in the Universe are more than antiparticles / Baryon asymmetry /

    2

    On the other hand:

The particles of ‘ dark matter’ in the Universe is more than particles of visual matter

    Question :

Does one physic’s hand know that the other hand do ?

  • In the recent Frontline program "The Carbon Hunters", at 2:45 in, we see Al Gore back in 1991, setting up a carbon trading scheme.

The strident nature of the most recent claims to imminent disaster notwithstanding, fortunately Mother Nature is providing an admirable refutation to the CAGW fanaticism.

I am halfway through "The Virtue of Heresy" and looking forward to "The Static Universe". Contrarian ideas are part of the process of surrounding our perception of reality to provide total vision.

  • @Sueezedtight : Thank you for your observations, and also for reading my Heresy. Let me know what you think of Static Universe - it's more technical than Heresy.

Yes, Gore and Pachauri have clear vested financial interest in making carbon the climate villain.

  • @HiltonRatcliffe My pleasure. As a professional chemist (I was an "et al" once...) I understand that science starts as an effort to "pigeon hole" information but it is the appreciation of the bigger picture and the sysnthesis that results from the examination of the fundamental inter-relationships that makes the difference.

p.s. I don't find you heretical so much as open-minded (in an eclectic way compared to most technically oriented people that I know).

I look forward to more of the same ;-)

  • Thank you, Zulusafari. Yes, The Static Universe is selling very well, and getting good reviews. I'm very pleased that it seems to have given The Virtue of Heresy a second lease on life as well!

  • WELL DONE HILTON

Keep on doing your job as well as you have been doing and in a very

    unpretensious manner

Good job : South Africa is proud of you....and all your friends as well

Hope your latest book is selling well: come to Oz!

  • @Rickardio, thank you for your comment. I agree with you. It is fraud, money has changed hands as a consquence of deliberate deception, and the benefactors should be prosecuted in law.

  • I hope Gore is sued for fraud and loses millions. This will discourage this type of behavior in the future. Also, the Nobel committee should reconsider allowing him to have a Nobel prize. Taking back the prize would protect the reputation of it.

  • Great presentation Hilton. Virtue of Heresy was excellent and congratulations on your new book The Static Universe. I have a problem with AGW too.

    Cheers,

    Kirt

  • @ptammer thank you. You don't state where you live, but I was amazed on a recent trip to the UK how many people at grassroots have shaken off the shackles of this intense and extremely well-funded propaganda blitz. It must be because the British media allow and encourage scrutiny of political policy, including that on climate change.

  • You presented your case against the hypothesis of AGW well in less than 5 minutes. I hope we would have some scientists of your calibre also in Finland to make a short evaluation of AGW in our National Television. Furthermore I am of the opinion that this whole matter will most probably be finally solved by astronomers and astrophysicists like you and Henrik Svensmark et al who understand larger time scales and how the Sun affects the Earth and it's climate.

  • @lheikina , thank you for your kind words. Finland has indeed many fine astronomers, but whether they are prepared to speak out is another matter. Any genuine scientist knows in his heart that the science underpinning AGW is completely ad hoc and synthetic.

  • Thank you for your comment, Hairy. Unfortunately, in the final analysis, we are up against human nature, not science. The science is plain and unambiguous; human nature quite the opposite.

  • Nicely done Hilton. I think it is great that a man of your scientific abilities lends your support to the view that man has very little to do with climate change. The present theory that the rise in our planet's temperature is mainly or solely caused by man is truly not supported by science. The activity of the sun on the oceans is by far the major cause of the rise in global temperatures which then in turn causes a rise in carbon dioxide levels.
