Haha! Just kidding dude. Excellent demo. I am an analog guy, but this pedal is one of the few that would make me cross the river. Nice stuff. I really want one.
Hey I do kinda look like that guy from Heroes! Yeah E-H does the digital thing really well, and the technology is at the point where it can really give the analog stuff a run for its money. thanks for the comment!
I hear you, I actually have the Holy Grail Plus. It's good, but it doesn't do justice for surf rock guitarists who love that fender spring reverb, when kicked on
I am a huge fan of Line 6 gear but have not used the verbzilla. Both are digital pedals and the Verbzilla, like all ToneCore pedals is built like a tank compared to the Holy Grail, so if you are going to do a bunch of gigging get the Verbzilla. Other than that I don't have much advice. Thanks for the question/comment.
Burps sound better than flurbs.

hey do you plug this through the front or an effects loop?
aektzis91 1 year ago
@aektzis91 Through the fx loop for dirty sounds. I would only go through the front if the amp is clean.

Real Fender spring reverb sounds better thant this digital thing.
d00derson 3 years ago
yeah but how much better?
chuck9000 3 years ago
Quite a bit... I think reverb is an effect that shouldn't be emulated.
d00derson 3 years ago
Of course real springs sound better. It doesn't mean this sounds bad.

hey man nice review , i play a lot of blues and im looking for a reverb pedal should i buy this one or go for the boss rv-5?
rfao90 3 years ago
the boss pedal is definitely more reliable but I find the Holy Grail to be more "vibey".
chuck9000 3 years ago
Hey this is a really great vid chuck. I've been wanting some kind of unbiased demo of this pedal and i'm best impressed with it!

can someone please tell me what wet and dry means?
Kitschead 3 years ago
Dry is the unaffected signal, Wet means the guitar sound with the effect.
chuck9000 3 years ago
Ok thanks. So what would be the difference between the wet/dry knob and the level knob?
Kitschead 3 years ago
Well there is no level knob on this but the difference is the wet/dry does not affect the volume or output.
chuck9000 3 years ago
That helped a lot on my pedal search, thanks man.
