Not too realistic. Where got school mate laugh at you just because you don't have a father or a perfect family? I grow up in S'pore w/o a father and a mother (definitely no perfect family) and nobody in school even know that.

He should care his mother's feeling. I understand that he got pain. But the family is important than other look at you. No need to care other... you were born by your mother.... My family is not perfect... I still remember something that my mother said to me "nobody loves me as family" You can leave and change girl/guy but you can't leave and change family ,father and mother.
oh, nice. props up to the opening sequence and the choice in music. i do think that the acting's a little awkward and the story could have moved a little faster. kudos for the effort tho! (:
