  • Oh, one more thing. I hear all these songs ripping the US Military about atrocities committed. Has anyone ever read the UN report on civillians killed by "friendly fire"? In 2010 the number of casualties were down from NATO attacks. I know, ideally no one should die, but the number of civillians killed by the Taliban increased. Why is no one singing songs about the casualties of the Taliban or the atrocities they commit? I have yet to hear one American band sing of their atrocities.

  • I like the song, but disagree with the lyrics. The music is good and the words and ideas expressed admirable, but to attack the soldiers of this country is wrong. As a soldier you cannot disobey orders, it's called "insubordination" and a soldier can be court martialed and dishonorably discharged. If you don't agree with the military life and what has to be done as a soldier, don't join. Simple. If you want to protest, great, but learn from Vietnam. It's the system, not the soldiers.

  • damn bleeding hearts

  • i love this song did tom morello produce this one i know he has produced some of there songs

  • @christian661199 Indeed Tom Morello produced this track, also the whole Eyes On Fire EP...

  • Is there an instrumental?

  • .. All wars are fueled by evil psychotic religion addiction/psychosis... someone says, "let's have a war"... they get ignored... but if they add, "those people are a different religion from us..."... then the religics sign up by the millions for another war fueled by unreasoning psychotic religious hatreds... religics preach 'peace', but are first in line to sign up for another war...

  • In the words of matisyahu, "All my life I been waitin' for, I been prayin' for, for the people to say that we don't want to fight no more.

They'll be no more wars and, our children will play, one day."

  • 3 people didn't like

    -Justin Bieber

    -Lady Gaga

    -Bush

  • The Majority of our soldiers are young men who grew up watching the planes crash into the towers on that one day. Young-impressionable men. Praise the lord and pass the ammunition!

  • i saw these guys play with gbh XD

  • 11 Bravo, Hooah!

  • If I hear one more asshole say they don't want to be there, they are just doing their job, or they signed up for the free college.....

  • @outernational

    youtubeDOTcom/watch?v=tI5JJS8A7AA

Replace the DOT with a .

  • Need more music like this. Check out my music:

    youtube com/watch?v=tI5JJS8A7AA

It sounds like Rage with melodies.

  • pleeeeeease to to Calgary, Alberta. I'm tired of all the fucking war hungry conservatives in my city

  • For fuck's sake, I don't care about everyone's political opinion unless you're willing to do something. If you're an activist, politician, or soldier, talk to me, if not, shut the fuck up and listen to the fucking music.

  • difference in the world weither it be good or bad I believe in Instant obedience to command and those same people who some call "baby killers" stop other countries military's from kicking in your front door by taking the fight to them and keeping it there...

  • @justwanther You're only following orders? Now where have I heard that excuse before?

As for the "kicking in your front door" comment, you might be able to use that to justify a purely defensive military, but invading other countries unprovoked only causes the people of those countries to feel threatened. Many then feel the need to rise up and fight back against the invaders. It doesn't make us any safer. It just gives people a reason to fight us in the first place.

  • @justwanther "stop other countries military's from kicking in your front door by taking the fight to them and keeping it there..."

Ya because iraq and afghanistan have the sufficient means TO kick in our front doors.

This is the difference between an al queda/taliban member and a american soldier. An american soldier says "I would rather fight them over THERE then over HERE" our enemy says "I would rather fight them HERE, where know the terrain, then over THERE"

  • You all keep talking about war and being suckered into doing something but what you fail to realize is that most people who join the military join because they have been wanting to from a young age war or not be damned we just look at it as somthing we have to do we will take our orders and accomplish our mission accordingly. I'm going into the marines I sign my DEP papers on sept 1st its not that I believe in war or like to kill I believe in the USMC and that what they are doing is makeing a

  • One day Outernational will be on the same level as Anti Flag and Rage Against The Machine.

  • @theundone1 i can honestly say i hope they NEVER are compared to anti flag. screw anti flag.

  • @OperationUnicron Well they probably will be so sucks for you doesn't it.

  • outstanding message

  • Can someone pleeeease post the lyrics to this song?! I can't find them anywhere on the internet D:

  • Open your eyes desert sand is in your vision now

You know the lies while you're off in a distant land

How do you justify the crimes you're committing kid?

Now that you've seen what it's like on this battlefield

Hey what you say when the sun comes low

Knocking at my front door looking for a way out

Now let it go with a solemn sense of purpose

Can't hold on we're on our own again

  • Your planet's burning war and torture's madness

Bodies burning a whole countries torn to bits

    First you're cannon-fodder now you're accomplices

I can see the scars from your arms to your conscience

Hey what you say when the sun comes low

Knocking at my front door looking for a way out

Now let it go with a solemn sense of purpose

Can't hold on we're on our own again

  • @outernational Do tell me about the crimes that are being committed. I am eager to get specifics. And please dont cite isolated incidents of soldiers that are being prosecuted by the US military. It must be those presence patrols that are conducted everyday to prevent foreigners from killing local Iraqis. Maybe its the fact that we helped stand up a national government and army in Iraq, and they have all but taken control of the country along with the local militias.

  • @verkpunk The hundreds of thousands of dead civilians would probably be a good place to start.

  • @ammoMtaFoY "Hundreds of thousands of dead civilians" OK by me, lets start there. What country and your sources please.

  • @verkpunk "And please dont cite isolated incidents of soldiers that are being prosecuted by the US military" That's all it should take to proove that the war on terror is perpetual.

If there"s 100,000. troops in afghanistan, and only %1 of the total (I suspect it is slightly higher) are essentially pschopaths who disregard the local populace as essentially a bunch of animals.. That alone would be enough to warrant a terrorist attack..

1,000 FOREIGN psychopaths occupying their land...

  • @thefakeyeti

If only 100 cases happened, where essentially a soldier freaked out and killed a bunch of civiles, it would be considered "isolated"

HOWEVER, in each case, that wouldbe someones uncle, someone elses son, father, couson, brother, 2nd cousin etc etc.

What would you do if a foreign soldier kileld your brother? I know what I would do, I would pick up a gun, and say it is time for them to LEAVE!

  • @skafreek no i didn't say they were exactly like them, if you haven't noticed every song/bassline is ripped from these two. derp... sorry but sublime is horrible. despicable. the ONLY THING that is more of a travesty is Slightly Stoopid.

maybe if' you'd like to get into some legitimate dub/reggae you could start with Oku Onuora. i refuse to recommend anyone else because u seem 2 b fine with shitty ass sublime.

  • @amphibian87 Sublime was a fusion band. Yes they had influences from reggae but they weren't a reggae band. They were a ska punk band, ska coming before reggae is not supposed to sound like reggae. They sounded like a mix of Bob Marley and Bad Religion.

  • FUCK YES. Spread a culture of resistance to STOP THESE FUCKING WARS. Put every effort you can in every way you can to end your country looting and destroying the world!

  • As a certified Limp Bizkit hater, I have to disagree with the last comment.

  • @amphibian87 Do the names Sublime or Long Beach Dub Allstars mean anything to you? How about Slightly Stoopid? Or just no respect for them either?

  • Comment removed

  • @amphibian87 You really need to think your arguments through before posting them. You say that Sublime is exactly like two of the most influential and respected reggae artists/bands only with vulgar lyrics, but use it as an attempt to say that Sublime is bad. That, in and of itself, is a logical contradiction that would tend to indicate that Sublime is actually on par with those two bands.

Also, some proper punctuation, grammar, and capitalization would go a long ways to gaining any respect.

  • except for the keys/trumpet player guy, he was super nice. And hes really talented.

  • @jspacepirate I've heard and read some negative stuff about these guys. But pompous is a first. I think they are confident, and they stand by what they believe and aren't afraid to put it out there. If your meaning of pompous comes close to that, okay. But to couple the word "assholes" with it. I don't believe your comment for a second.

  • Great video, awesome song, solid band. Jumper cables for the music industry, let's hope.

  • i saw them live twice they are amazing and this is an awsome song

  • Wow this song rocks, both musically and lyrically, I heard of through the Axis of Justice Website, the message in the song rocks, GREAT SONG!

  • Same here!

  • Wrong. And fuck the bible.

  • @cliffe98 the bible says a lot of bullshit

its the people who take what they want out of the bible and use it for their purposes that give it a bad name

  • @buddyluv545

we should be criticizing & pushing the troops that way they will finally take a stand. Yes, there's possibilities of a draft if troops were to refuse to voluntarily sign up for war, but it would also spark truth to the people & would also spark the possibility of a revolution to unfold. The idea of boycotting the military is the only way we can end this war, & so we must, together, take a stand against the imperialist regime, & show them that we've had enough. Down with capitalism!

  • How about you get off the internet that you purchased from a giant cable company. Shut down the computer that you bought at Best Buy. Stop driving that car that was made by a car manufacturer. Hey, get off the roads while you are at it. Those are paid for by the billions of dollars generated by a free market. Capitalism makes the world go round my friend. Its typical of the spoiled, who reap the benefits of capitalism, to denegrate it as if they have a single idea that is better.

  • @verkpunk When did anyone say that those things would not exist in a capitalist society?

  • This is my favorite song by you guys. such a great song!

  • damn. rage should tour with these folks.

  • Well Tom Morello did help get their name out and produce for them!

  • You cant say that these guys are wrong for serving their country. They voluntarily joined the armed forces, so its also wrong to say that President Obama is taking their votes and sending them off, they damn well knew they were joining an army that has been at war for over 8 years now. Outernational, I love you guys, saw you with Chris Cornell in Philly. The song kicks ass especially the acoustic you had up for a while. Keep em coming boys, I love your work.

  • They may THINK they are serving their country, but they are not. They are doing it, themselves, the Iraqis, and the world in general a dis-service. Then again, those in power in America who helped Saddam get, and hold on to power, and those who didn't shout about it, also do us a mis-service.

  • wow... just wow.... just.... listen and no words to praise or anything closer to that. music does show the deepest and the loveliest ways we can all reach out and make a difference out there. again... wow :) and hats off!!!!

  • "Support the troops" but not the war? That's like saying, "support the rapist" but not the rape.

As for those who have been suckered into becoming pawn for empire and unjust war, first they're cannon-fodder, then they're accomplices.

Stop thinking like Americans, start thinking about humanity.

Stop thinking like Americans, start thinking about humanity.

  • I have honestly never thought about it like that. You guys make us think. Its amazing! I have been tempted to Join because of "free tuition" but I feel i have to "sell my soul."

  • @outernational you are an idiot, if I want to see Gogol then I will have to see your dumbass in NOLA

  • @verkpunk Yeah, I think I know when I'll be out getting a cold one and lookin' at the t-shirts. I am pretty far out to left politically, but I'm also a VN-era vet, and this is all beginning to sound familiar; if you can't (or won't) take on the government responsible, just dump it back at the feet of the grunts. Anyway, I turn 55 today, and the G.B. concert is my present, next week in Atlanta.

  • @outernational cmon my friends, many of the troops have no choice whether or not to be there.... i think that analogy is a bit defunct... interesting however, and does make you think... jesse is sexy....

  • @outernational "Support the rapist but not the rape"? Are you fucking kidding me? In terms of critical thinking and logic that fucking stupid. Really bad comparison. Mind you the wars fucking stupid but that's what most of the troops are. Pawns. Some are doing it for college money some because they have no employment. I liked the music until i saw this comment. Seems just like a whiney song. If this is the bands youtube channel. You guys are fucking retarded.

  • @renegade2551 Saying things like "fucking stupid" and "fucking retarded" don't add up to you making your case. These wars are massive crimes against humanity, and those crimes are being committed by actual people: US troops. That makes them criminals. Showing how absurd it is to say, "Support the rapist, not the rape" is absolutely on point. People in the military or considering joining the military need to be told that. They need to hear exactly what it is that they will be doing.

  • @scottistoxic The logic is all there.

  • @buddyluv545

I do not agree: Hopefully the "boys", how you call them, are grown up and able to decide for themselves. Any (young) soldier going to A. or I. is able to get loads of informations on the wars there and should know what he/she is expecting AND expected to do there. And how things can go wrong.

  • when i think of all those polls that ask "do you trust Obama" and I said YES, i feel like a fool... Mr.O-bomb-a got out the youth votes, now he sends them out to war! Puppet piglet of the same old war crime regime, not Change!

  • Outernational, the band that matters in this 21st century; outstanding, amazing, emboldened

share with your friends; post on your youtube channel; facebook, myspace, twitter, et. al

I've done so and and am also sharing with others; join me, join us. It's time to change the world (and have a great sounding band playing the tune while we all do so)

  • Thanks for the great song. Because of artists like you I have remained a friend of the USA. Keep rocking.

  • Oh and all the best wishes from Vienna, Austria

  • thank you for being a band

    honestly!

  • The US hasn't had a legit reason to be in ANY war since the civil war! Bad habits I guess, are just too hard to break. Two hundred years of the citizens asleep at the wheel will come around to bite us in the ass, soon.

  • pearl harbor...

  • @krooklynkid91

    "Pearl harbor"...

I believe if I lived during that time, I would've been reluctant to serve, pearl harbor was an strategic attack against our expanding MILITARY

if our navy wasn't in Hawaii, the japs wouldn't of have a reason to attack us.

  • I was all for Obama until this. Everytime a doucebag politician starts or promotes a war in our (USA's) name, we should kick him or her to the curb! Obama - One & Done!

  • No to political deception of mass murder on 911 to justify war for oil!!

  • no to unlawful occupation!!!

  • Can't wait till the 6th!

  • Big Song!

Great to see that there's RESISTANCE in the US!
