@dikkereneus: In socialist economies, the state doesn't pay for electricity, because energy is owned by the state as well, and the army can use it at no costs as long as there are enough power plants for both the military bases and the civilian populations. Guess this is why Americans don't have such huge bases - they have to pay the energy companies! :)))

Yes the old one was pretty sick, but the new one is now able to crush almost anything and has the ability to grind tanks.

Go to Moddb you'll be surprised by how many awesome mods there is. Most of them are in progress (not finished yet)

you should do Custom settings, if you have a bad graphic card but good cpu and ram then put most of them on high except put shadow, vfx and shader. Put water on Med.

@DmitriKrukov I had an Acer Aspire with 4 gig of ram but a useless graphics card. I was able to make this playable keeping the shader low or medium and water quality medium, everything else can be high except for anti aliasing, turn that off.

@Armalizilto All we need is an electric proof suit and a Tesla coil strapped to the back of the unit. Practical, not even close. To generate that much electricity, you need a big coil. Theoretically. In practice the major stumbling block would still be what yet vexes all efforts to build practical battlefield lasers, namely power supply and discharge rate. And the associated troubles with waste heat...

And the little detail that trying to shoot lightning bolts at stuff is really pretty impractical, given the quirky and not a little unpredictable way electricity acts... you'd be far better off trying to miniaturize particle accelerators TBH.

Dude, honestly almost every game with Russians/Soviets, they are the most powerful and crude. I guess this means the Russians are a symbol of power in C&C while the Empire is Technological and the US are the balance In between. @uberfrenchtoast Yes, the Soviets do seem to be the kind of faction that will gladly dive head-long into any battle, while the Japanese are a more advanced nation who pride themselves in the effectiveness of their units individually. The Allies are a more strategic power who use their situation to their advantage and have powerful enough weapons to get the job done.
