@TheSilentscream777 Not that much but slightly. Overall Tokyo Mew Mews is completely child-appropriate yet aimed at younger teens. So basically, there is a bit of romance. If you've ever watched Gakuen Alice, it has a similar feel to it.

Here's a brief synopsis: On her first date, Ichigo is zapped by a mysterious ray that scrambles her DNA with that of the endangered Iriomote wildcat. She & 4 other girls have been selected for the top-secret Mew Project, which aims to protect the Earth from an alien menace known as Deep Blue. [no copywirte intended] :D
