All you need to do is to upgrade one of the Squirt Towers to a Typhoon Tower (level 6). I sold almost everything else just to enjoy watching it one-shot all the normal waves and single-handedly take down all the bosses.
You should've made every creep go towards the bottom so you can concentrate on upgrading only the towers on the bottom and the center.=.= Having everything go in 1 direction is the best method to keep the costs down as well as the creep count down.
i put the ink shooter thing in the middle , and funneled all of them in one path, upgrade the ink shooter thing and it killes everything by itlself, then just build two air towers to take care of flyers, in total, like 10 towers, none got through
