  • lol q701 with e5...

  • lol he's fucking tired

  • They sound like dog turd next to my AKG Q701s with a FiOO E5 amp

  • @liore1234 Your Q701's with E5 sound like dog turd next to Q701's with proper headphone amplifier. :P

  • @liore1234 Q701 with E5? How does it sound?

  • There must be like hundreds of the best earbud in the world for u lol

  • There must be hundreds of "One of the best earbud in the World" for apple earbud to be one of them

  • Pk1>mx980>Pk2>mx880>apple earbud... definitely not the world's best earbud

  • Look at him out of breath... Fat Shit!

  • Really can't complain especially because they come free with every iPod and iPhone

  • @applesmnch2 they don't come free, their cost is included in the price of an iPod or iPhone

  • @applesmnch2 The 6 dollar sony earbuds you can find at your local CVS sound better. FYI, the apple earbuds cost 19 bucks

  • You always look like you just came back from a Caribbean cruise.

  • lol he sounds like he's on the verge of tears

  • ur an idiot, the apple headphones r shit... y do u think the jack is silver

  • Then only way I can get an earbud to give me any type of semi respectable sound is if I point the driver facing my ear canal with the wires pointing out and not down the way I see everyone wearing them. And theres no seal at all unless I press them into my ear otherwise all the bass dissappears If the cable is hanging straight down isn't it just firing into the large opening behind the ear canal? Am I doing something wrong? I guess I'm just accustom to iems.

  • Is it me or do these things hurt my ears after a while thats why I dont like them.

  • @DoctorCrayonz i had same problem with them. sound quality also ain't very good. i'm sure and i know there is much better earbuds even on the same price as apple earbuds.

  • I think Scoshe earbuds for the iPod were pretty damn nice for $40, plus they control the iPod

  • totally agree on that these earbuds have amazing sound. but i like in-ear better :D xD

  • this is like a metaphorical video because the have the commercials where they have a silhouette dancing with the ear buds dangling from their ears and holding the ipod and it's like saying anyone is the silhouette

  • @lmaovialmao Are you a f***in RETARD?! Dont need to answer... (Answer= Yes you are)

  • ok so I guess my iphones earbud with the microphone and shit are broken... Becuase they have the WORST sound quality I have EVER heard. I literally changed to the free earbuds that I got on a plane flight. Maybe he gave you $900 'normal apple earbuds' LOL

  • I remember in high school when ever there was a new song by Kanye West or Lupe Fiasco, a owner of an MP3 player with Apple headphones, instead of Cobys or.. GUMMIES, gave reassurance to a listener that they were going to hear good quality sound (in respect to Earbud) then again, those that digger over the head, Sony MDR-V150's were my friend.

  • meaningful sychonicity with the death of jobs

  • IMO, people that actually want to enjoy music should never get these kinds of earbuds but should get in-ear earbuds or headphones.

  • Ok skullcandy makes very horrible headphones but there is one ear-bud that stands out and thats their ink'd model ear-bud could you review please?

  • @subconnect Their Aviators and Mix Masters are very good as well. I'll try to get a listen of the Ink'd, thanks for the tip.

  • @InnerFidelity no problem thanks as well!

  • @subconnect there ink'ds our Outstanding!!!! i owned FMJ and inkd . fmj =37+ ink'd = 10+ and imo inkd are way better.

  • @subconnect yeah, the ink'd buds aren't the greatest buds out there but their bass is quite remarkable.

  • @mohdip don't think u know alot about earphones cause u just sad ibeats and tours and souls are good

  • ... I have had all earbuds that i mentioned.

  • @mohdip Those aren't ear-buds; they're in-ear. Completely different type of earphone.

  • @InnerFidelity that are not In-ear.... its earbuds man. its not in your ear

  • @mohdip its funny how stupid you are.

  • @RamenBowlKing

Its amazing how fat and what a loner u are!

PS go get a life d-bag!

  • @mohdip

    Get a brain first.

  • I also found the Apple earbuds are underrated and unappreciated, but I think it's quite a stretch to say they are the best in the world as I've heard many that sound quite a bit better to my ears. Some being only a little more expensive such as the Sennheiser MX 580(whichreplaced the MX 560).

  • Ive found out that im going to buy Sony mrd-xb1000 :D

  • @ThePiggyDude those are GIGANTIC but if you love bass theyre a good option

  • bass*

  • @ThePiggyDude that alll depends on what sort of money youre looking to spend.

  • @ernestryles max 500 Dollars, and remember im only going to use it on my ipod.

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePiggyDude well with that kind of budget you have an incredible amount of options. Also would you prefer in ear, on ear, or over ear, and do they need to be portable?

  • I love base witch headphones should i buy for my Ipod? :D

  • @ThePiggyDude

monster turbines and vmoda vibe duos both have very good bass.

  • yuin pk3. good ear buds.

  • I am Steve Jobs and I find this offensive.

  • Love your reviews, hate these headphones..they signify the entire reason why people who buy apple products don't care about good sound, Most don't know better , it's more about the principal, fault but apple for even including them with any product. Equally to blame is low quality mp3's. They have found ways to not include battery chargers with their products. They should save more money and not include horrible headphones. I'm sure I'm not alone on this. Just garbage made for children.

  • @sabbath154 indeed, i use ipod classic with the line out on 30 Pin so its digital output, and i use sennheiser CX 550 Plug earphones, i can tell you when listening 320Kbps Or FLAC they sound very good.

  • idk I thought the very cheap sony sport earbuds sounded better ^^.

  • I think Tyll is trying to get a gig on Dancing With The Stars O_o?!?!?! Nice video Tyll now go get yourself some water and stop dancing around before you collapse.

  • I agree that they are a pretty darn good ear bud. I like them more than my Sennheiser MX500 buds, and I was shocked at that. It is true that the foam helps, and there are adapters that help channel the sound into the ear canal. I really hate the iTunes software and preffer the sound of my PSP over my iPod classic any day. I am dissapointed in Apple for not using good software and not using MP3 format.

  • People, please use it with foam. If its not given in the box, go get yourself one. It does improve the sound tremendously.

  • passion driver or not these headphones are crap, I´ve hear quite a bit of headphones and earbud and these just sound avg. Sony's standard earbuds provided on sony MP3 players do sound much better. Not to talk about Sennheiser's alternatives which are just so much better!

These may indeed be the best sub-10 dollar earbud but no more than that.

  • Sorry for the accidental double comment! I want to continue on the Apple earbuds a bit more. If you read the specs, they have 13.5mm Drivers. In a pair of earbuds, this is like putting a subwoofer in your ear! If you look at other in-earbuds with the same driver size, you will find other people praising their extreme range of tone.

  • Hi Fellow Youtubers! I just wanted to clarify a few things about the Apple earbuds. I have spent many hours listening to them and the reason why they sound cruddy is because there is no air tight seal from the drivers to your ears. Try this. Use your Apple earbuds as you normally would. Then partially cover the vent holes on the top of the earbud and press the earbuds closer to your ear until it forms a seal with your ear. You will instantly notice the difference!

  • @S3V3RI7Y

Not only that, i see lots of ppl using those without the foam.

Try it with foam on, it improve the sound so much better.

  • A very intelligent review, reviewing the product in the category that it should be, whilst remembering that we get them free to boot!

    Well done Tyll

  • He was probably listening to "Take my breath away" at the beginning of the video ;o)

  • Nice story and a passionate speech. I thoroughly enjoyed the dancing as well.

  • Ok man i need your help your the best guy i've found and i need advice quickly.

K I have 150 budget for good quality headphones, i rather not spend it all but am willing too. I currently am between the Technica ATH-M50 and Image ONE Stereo Headphones. Please give me your suggestions i am going to have these with apple iPod so music controls would be nice, but more importantly i just want good sounding over ear cans.

  • @InnerFidelity Well there is a camjam coming up and I heard Audez'e will introduce a new headphone ^^

  • @InnerFidelity You mean LCD-2? ;)

  • @Satfgk D'OH!!

  • @InnerFidelity No! Just a spelling misstake. I'm not starting any rumors!

  • I am searching for headphones which are comfortable, have great bass (and pretty much of it) are Full sized, have great build quality (preferably no plastic frame), and are easy to take with me (foldable would be nice). And a possibility to not carry a 3m cable with me

my Budget would be about 350 Dollars, but i have been searching for weeks now without finding anything fitting my needs exactly. do you have any suggestions for me?

  • @Sneakdeath57 Nothing will fit your description. The Audeze LCD-3 does, but it's $995. Look at the Sennheiser HD 650, it's got plastic, not BIG on bass, but sounds absolutely terrific.

  • @InnerFidelity Thank you for clearing that up.

I think i am gonna spend my 300 euros on a Denon AH-D2000 for home use, and stick with my in ear buds on the go for the time beeing .______."

Would you suggest the Denon AH-D2000 for home use? Music, Movies, Games? and do i need any extra equipment for it?

Thank you for answering, i really appreciate it.

  • OMG he can dance

  • @CrazyDayDreamer69 Did you see the video? More like a fish flopping on the dock.

  • @InnerFidelity I personally think they sound like electronic noise, with no soul, no emotion. Just cold, electronic, crappy sound. Still, I love apple and like you said: Steve, R.I.P. :(

  • @Satfgk They sound like crap next to my HiFiMAN HE-500, that's for sure.

  • Nice... I think I have 2-3 sets in the box...

  • Well...Thats just like saying "This is the best marshmallow for cutting down trees...An axe might be way better, but i prefer this marshmallow because it does good for compared to others" ...Its rubbish - It may be the best rubbish, but its still rubbish - the end.

  • @Swampax That's pretty funny. How about if I light the marshmallow and burn down the tree?

  • @InnerFidelity Haha, that would work too ;P I would say these have two uses. a) People who've just never heard any better and just listens to 128kb music (Fits a lot of apple-fiends) or b) like I use mine for running when it rains because i wouldn't care if they broke - But i must agree, its a pretty good marshmallow, its free anyway so what the heck, can't say no to free stuff, can we now. However narrow minded an audiophile one might be. Its not like it prevents us from getting better ones :P

  • @Swampax Here's the thing, I think you're wrong. I think the current ones are easily listenable.

  • people dis these earphones and well

    1. they are free with apple products

    2. they have only just broke after 3 years of constant use and my over earphones (£30 skullcandy, sony £20)

so i would say these are really not bad at all

Steven jobs will be greatly missed

    R.I.P Steven Jobs

  • LOL you are awesome! that's so funny

  • @TheJuiy ya the warranty is great, my lasts headphones had problems on the ear cup (sound kept going in and out) I mailed them back, and got about $10 more than what I payed for them back ($88 on the online store) and now have a $150 pair that cost me around $50 :)

  • Sorry... lastly, the ear plugs I'm referring to are silicone. They mold around the outside of the earbud and stick to your ear very well.

  • Just another thought on my experience with earbuds and the Mack's Earplugs squished over the buds to make a seal... I jog and hike a lot. The buds themselves slip out of place all day long. Mack's keep them in place and I never have to fidget around with position or misalignment due to activity.

  • Here's my tip... Apple ear buds sealed in ear with Mack's Pillow Soft Earplugs. I discovered this a few years back when I took My 1125R cross country. No more misaligned earbuds inside the Arai... Good seal from the wind noise... Cheap and reusable. They have em right on the shelf at Wally World for $5.95. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts T. My "reference" is a set of QC15's for all the travel I used to do. I think the buds with the plug mod sound almost as good.

  • true , sooo true ! man your reviews are awsome !

  • @TheJuiy definitely a factory defect. You can mail them back to skullcandy or return them if you bought them in a store and get a new pair. you may want to upgrade to the 50/50's for $10 more. these have a mic3 (microphone, play pause buttons, and volume control) and sound a bit more bassy. Check out my videos if your interested in buying skullcandy headphones!

  • Nice shirt.

  • @TheJuiy I own them, and was gonna makes a review soon, any questions you want answered?

  • Hysterical!! and u were out of breath for a while, heeheehee...love the video!

  • Great video, I would recommend getting an external microphone to improve the audio quality of the of the video.

  • Great video and beautiful tribute. Steve Jobs will be forever missed.

  • Great video and article. Looks like you ran out of breath a little there, eh?

  • what about yuin pk2?seriously apple earbuds sucks, i like best sony earbuds than apple earbuds when i used to wear earbuds

  • @nakaroxx I would have loved to have access to a bunch of Sony ear-buds to try. That's another company thaty makes a boat load of these. Some other time, eh?

  • @InnerFidelity

You should try out the Yuin PK1. With its foam it's excellent (much better, than the apple earbuds), without it, it isn't so good.

  • @hgabi00

    Oh, I see:

"The PK1 is the best sounding ear-bud in my experience, but the one I could get my hands on quickly had a bad driver."

  • Lol i luv this guy XD

  • My iPhone 4 earbuds sound really good and they're very comfortable too. It doesn't have the bass that the in ear canal headphones have, but definitely has a great audio quality for earphones that doesn't go inside the ear canal.

  • Im getting the klipsch s4i over the v-moda remix remote after watching tones of reviews hope they are as great as people say they are.

  • V-moda crossfade lp bose ae2 or blueant embrace which do you like better? Assuming you have tried them all.

  • Have you ever reviewed the Astro A40 audio system? If so, what do you think?

  • @sprcrzy110 that's a gaming headset

  • Third

  • 2nd!

  • the first few seconds was awesome!!!
