  • bruce lost face ip man was upset with him

  • Push hands are invented so that the practitioners wont hurt each other. This is not combat. Only part of training.

  • Anymore MMA fanboy cocksuckers talk trash here, i'ma get my shot gun.. lol

    i'm not kidding...

  • wow so flowing and gentle looking then he is behind you. this guy has alot ot skill

  • Slow fighting... LOL

  • This is "combat"??? What a fucking joke.

  • Ndizdare is a great master with a lot of respect from other masters too, He is training full contact karate for 25 years, has a black belt most of his life.

Ater he was introduced to Yang style, he went to china, and he trains that style every day for years know.

He also teaches selfdefense and martial arts to security teams and special force (police)

He goes to china every year on three months and you can only imagine what he learned there..

He is everything but weak, BELIVE ME!!!

  • lovely demo of Push hands.

  • wow... noob

  • Sce pall

  • I was practice ground wrestling a man who had some experience in this he wasnt a master but still i couldnt touch him to get a hold until i put some more thought into it... in the end i used a distraction and spear hands but for the purpose of defense against an unknowning character it worked perfect.

  • i like his style ! who is the teacher and where doe s he live and teach ? good work , it has a very chinese flavour to it ! which is rare in europeans ;-)

  • zdral izmiha xaxaxaxa....skriveni zmaj ..pritajeni tigar

    pozdrav iz Wing Chun Srbija

  • 0:52 The master was killed by neck chop!

  • dgs666, pushing hands is sensitivity training. Teaching you to sense the other persons direction of energy , allowing you to direct your energy away or with it.

Imagine somebody throwing a punch at your head, your hand (for example) would softly brush up against it, sense its direction, then you can speed it up, redirect it or stop it.

However you feel the situation commands.

  • Push Hand is in preparation for combat. Unless you understand the elements of PH, one will not be able to apply it during combat.

  • ~('.'~) dance like cow

  • ja ja ja ja ja!

  • Very nice Push Hands!!!

  • i havent seen many push hands drills with chin na application like this

  • This look more like Yung Chun...

  • Remember Bruce Lees first ever martial art introduction was Wu Tai Chi as a 13yr old by his father. Then the Wing Chun and JKD came later. It seems the grounding for inward martial arts - if done long enough and correctly can lead to a much better external martial artist in the end yes?

  • @Anglostani eh he trained tai chi but he doesnt like it he was only on trainings and left wuchu was something else for him he never missed on training and samotimes he was liying to athor students about trainings he sent them home cause he wanted trainer only for himself and JKD is no martial art :P as you thing he said it it is only combat system hich he created

  • @Anglostani Wing chung and Choi lai fut, then JKD

  • @Anglostani hey not calling you out at all. I have respect for Wu tai chi or any Chinese Art for that matter. But Bruce Lee wasn't trained in that. Dont get me wrong a majority of the chinese people practice Tai Chi in the morning and Im sure Bruce Lee did also. But he started Studing Wing Chun at the age of 12. Sorry not calling you out.

  • this is push hands not "combat"

  • @jekylfoot

Ok ... and how are push hands helping in combat ??

  • And this is why Tai chi and Shaolin Kung fu complement eachother well....

  • Very nice Pushing Hands exercise. I practice the Hitting Hands exercise.

  • I wouldn't be caught dead in those clothes

  • im wondering what is the different between 'internal' and 'external' art?

  • I'm not an expert but internal = Neijia and external Waijia

in the internal arts you act on Chi, the internal energy

in the external arts you hit your ennemy with physical strength fists, kicks, ...

  • Well internal and external are not so different, you see when you learn external you are coming right out and just using external energy from the start as opposed to internal kung fu when you start out working on balance. The slower movements you see are for hiding the effects they can have. When you start out you work on the internal part but later on you work on the external moves such as kicks punches, palm strikes and takedowns.

  • Also in the internal arts you train punches and kicks right from the beginning.

The slow movements are not for hidig anything but to refine yourmovements, as you use a far more complicated and deeper way of generating power.

  • An 'internal' art like taiji focuses on the development of qi (chi), or basically energy, from an early stage, normally through breathing and softer movements.

'External' arts, like shaolin, focus more on physical movements and damaging opponents from the beginning.

In the end, internal movements turn into physical defense while external arts culminate the qi.

Basically the difference is the road to the finish.

  • External arts are also more... fierce, while internal arts seem to flow more like water.

  • Following my last comment at the kung fu school i go to we do something called pushhands which allow us to test what moves we have learned through forms. It really helps you predict what move the opponent is going to do next so you can use a movement that will prevent you from being hit and will put you in a good position to use a move from a form you have learned. Its very hard to explain to you how to learn/do kung fu and I would not recommend trying to learn online.

  • I'm by no means an expert but from my experiments I'd say: training methods.

Bost utilize roughly the same principles to achieve the same goal (victory in a physical confrontation). The internal arts are a bit more thorough in their application though, and thus take longer to learn, and use effeciently.

  • he is bullshit. not good at all

  • to me the most kickass martial arts are

    1.capoeira

    2.muay thai

    3.tai chi

  • totally bullshit, not even good in Tai Chi

  • In 2:00 if someone that trains jiu jitsu or aikido catches you like that you cant escape belive me.He puts a pressure on you albow and twists you joint.Anyway tai chi is nice for relaxation

  • u're not supposed to even be in such situation that someone could have your hand straight like that to lock the elbow

  • check my tai chi teacher fung lin ji

  • I agree with plackdog. he doesnt seem to be using his waist at all when he's deflecting

  • combat? hahaha...

  • Very external, no real Taichi princples being displayed here.

  • he has a good hard style backgroung to develope from, that is good. he is good enough to help people learn tai chi but, like many he should not yet be considered a teacher of tai chi.

  • what did u expect? this is the techniques demonstrated with pushing hands. it's supposed to be external cos there's a partner

  • sorry,i saw that i allready SAID exactly the same thing before :)

  • 不要教鬼佬功伕,愚蠢的中國人!

  • ... ... :)

  • boring and not applicable, that it is not free tai ji quan.

  • well, i train Ninjutsu in Slovenia...but i find the concept of Tai Ji verry fascinating.Though opposites,we do have one of the five principles wich is Sui (water). It is a principle of defense, but still it is "fluid" (since you overtake your opponent and go arround him...).Some techniques ,if done with force, are not possible to perform correctly. So, i respect other principles too. Pozdrav na Hrvatsko od vasog susjeda! :)

  • good comment!

though i feel that ninujtsu of olden days had taiji in it,and now that part is mostly gone.

i personaly train with a taiji master who has skills i recognize from ninjutsu training i had in my mma school.

i like everyone else was against taiji but not no more it is great.

  • ACEMFG:well it is true... we do have TAIJUTSU wich is verry flexible. Its based on the 4 elementes plus a unviersal element (Void or "Heaven").Some techniques are a bit stiff, others are pretty soft and smooth. The thing is that you can make your own types of combat styles thru the principles of the elements (Sui - water, has the evasion/block/strike type that ENCIRCLES the opponent.you go arround him, like a stream of water does arround a rock. Its a bit more smooth and is mostly defensive)

  • breaking an arm will stop the combat :)

  • A je ste se lipo obukli. . .

Al niste mogli raditi u tutama?

Sminka i tai chi, sta je sljedece?

Kad ste na treningu sigurno cesete nos i zavijate kao macke!

MOJ KUNG FU JE BOLJI OD VASEG KUNG FUA

  • Watch this!!!

Is that sort of Thi Chi??

    They are doing pushing hands!!

    Amazing!!

    "TAONAMICS - Kampfsystem"

  • Very impressive and convinding. Mahy years of hard practices. I feel very reluctant every time my master wants me to do hand-push ex.

  • que meigo

  • bah...

  • Calling a pushing hands exercise combat seems a bit purple, don't you think?

  • I took Tai Chi "Open hand" (yang style) for a year and Tai Chi Sword (yang) for two years. Or instructor made us practice push-hands every day for like an hour and a half, until we got to the point where we could do it with anyone and even walk while we were doing it. I'm really rusty now, but just watching this video makes me feel like I'm being taught again...this looks exactly like what we went through everyday. I miss taking Tai chi!

  • What are you saying? I would break both your arms.

  • Im sure you would...its just a you know...id like you to break something else, only if your good looking ofcourse :D

  • You are really weak, I am sure of it. I bet your a martial artist wannabe, a Kung Fu groupie. A real martial artist has more respect for people, marial arts transforms the charecter. The first master I studied under was a man taught, by a woman the daughter of the famous master Han Shen Tan. Yang Chen Fu's daughters are known for thier skill. Anyone of these women would slam your groupie ass. Your so silly, you disrecpect women, but half your bloodline comes from one. You curse yourself.

  • You are right 110%, please forgive me and let me kiss you pasionately and lets make peace :P

  • @5Bluenilehoney First of all you don't see very well beacuse both of them are men. second: if you'd understand what he is saying you would know was taken during a class.

third: if you are so good as you say and know so much how come you are on youtube making insultive comments?

I'm not sure if you even know what you are saying...

  • @5Bluenilehoney sounds like the words of a nigger

  • @5Bluenilehoney You dont know what your talking about yourself! you can have high martial skill and even strong internal power and be unpleasant, rude and even evil. Why do you think qigong and neikung are such closely guarded secrets, because they can be used for evil.A powerfull black taoist magician can summon demons and lower entities and send them to destroy your life.Just a projection of his powerfull hatred by a look will have you shitting yourself before he destroys your vital points.

  • lol get your eyes tested then :P

  • i thought it seemed a bit fake....

  • appreciate the west are practicing tai chi

Keep up the good work

  • se taichi y este señor si sabe pero le falta mejorar el balance de la cadera mueve todo el cuerpo y eso le hace vulnerable. la fuerza debe salir del centro del caerpo...

  • The idea of push hands/sticky hands is to learn how to keep your posture/balance if you can master that then you can off balance your opponent anytime no matter how big or strong they are.

I've had a lot of street fights and didn't believe it til i tried it!!

For all you disbelievers just try and hit a tai chi master, you wouldn't stand a chance!!!

  • i am a chinese and learned martial art for years,

this master is not moving & swivel his hip with hand simultaneous, which means NOT QUALITIED for a TAi chi movement

  • Doucetman, try to fight a master in internal martial arts who as only fought once or twice, or even not at all, providing one will even agree to fight in the first place. Then come back and tell us that "you cannot become a better fighter without fighting."

  • so so

  • kalaripayattu is the ancient form of kung fu..do me or bodhidharma the south indian monk wo travelled to china and taught all them in shaolin temple..so dont be so chinese'zation of kungfu..google bodhidarma...kung fu is always obliged to kerala.latter kung-fu has been ramified into many forms and endured/existed witht conjoinin...(while the monastery and cold war..)

  • doucetmen, itsnt just push hands ....when it aplies in fight these effect are so dangerous and arts like bagua, hsing xi and taichi are a typical internale form which need chi to do it.the same power can be seen on telekinesis and stuffs.shaolin kungfu is the externale form like you think...but the most powerfull is taichi...and bagua.....not karate...or physical actions rigorously

  • i have only once seen tai chi in its true fighting form with open hand blocks and strikes and alot of dodging manouvres and push hands, but this is pure ballet.

  • good push hands are the first way to successful fighting... one touch and you are trapped...

  • oho ! obviously YOU have never fought ! Pushing hands have a very slight interest for actual fighting, it's mostly made to improve the feeling and the relaxation. But nothing is better than fighting to improve fighting. That's because of this kind of believing that none nowadays taiji so called master could handle a simple boxer... You cannot become a better fighter without... fighting !!

  • i said "first way" not the way. lol on the contrary i have fought many times. fighting alone is not going to improve your fighting. the great late master Yang said it right in his publication "to master tai chi as a kung fu you need to train in the three components of tai chi: the forms, push hands, and actual combat training"

  • yes okay your right i din't read you properly. But never said "fight alone" what do you mean by that ? Fight the bag ?

  • i mean just fighting without the other trainings that i mentioned. fighting without the other trainings will only lead to a street fighter, not a kung fu master. there is nothing wrong to be a street fighter, afterall the martial arts evolved from street fights back in china. but a master is one that can identify ways to advance one's techniques, and to teach people who would want to learn.

  • This is Croatian language and this is impressive video. Thanks

  • Combat? just push hands and chin na nobody fights like that.

  • This is called "pushing hands"... it's a tai chi style when the two fighters check each other's chi strength - their auras... And it's not russian language. And I think it's Serbian or Hrvatski... I understand about 50% cos I'm from Bulgaria.)

  • "check each others chi strength"? What bull. Pushings drills are for developing your"listening" skills. As for a skilled tai chi exponent not being able to deal with a boxer, it would depend on what the tai chi person was allowed to do because a lot of the tai chi applications are very dangerous, much more than a simple punch.

  • what happens when sum1 pushes ur arm out then pushes on the back of ur elbow?

  • hmm. you'd have to describe the technique more in depth for me to understand fully, but if it's an upward push to the underside of the elbow and lifting up in attempt to uproot, i would Peng and ward off the strike and Ji, squeeze his empty point. in the chest.

  • very impressive-i guess it was spoken in russian-watched it many times- learn a bit from here- thanks to the uploader
