I just picked up this synth. I was wondering about the vocoder. I have a shure sm58 mic and adapter 1/4 for the mic input. Do i need a preamp for the mic, and then run it to the JP?

1 advice keep your voice monotone/at one pitch

so dont ''sing'' allong with what u are playing on your keys

so it articulates better, cheerzzz

@denmla711 For me, AN1x will ALWAYS have the much better sound than the JP-80**. An1x is more organic and versatile. JP Is thinner and more limited. AN1x easily has the best filters too and sounds as good as VA's costing much more.
