A year and a half ago I was at the National War Museum in Ottawa, Canada on Remembrance Day (same day as Americans observe Veterans' Day); I was standing in the cafeteria when several young men in operational uniforms walked in -- and this very thing happened. If you feel your eyes well up seeing it in a commercial, imagine how much more powerful it is to see it happen for real! Thank you to all those who serve or have served.
juggasoldier THANK YOU to U and ALL who have served and Continue to serve and TY to ALL YALLS FAMILY for what they give for the USA! MAY GOD be with YALL and BLESS ALL!
Ohhh GOD, what incredible and touching heart commercial, Keep working and thanks for our freedom and GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ARMY FORCES, I am Mexican and recognize so higly values
as a soldier i have to say this is what its like when we come home when we travel in uniform period people tend to thank us and the gratitude is greatly appreciated
I am a U.S. Army soldier, and I must say that commerical is what it is like...I seen it in Atlanta Airport, Whenever I'm in uniform and traveling, All the thanks makes the stress of the job much better, Its tough, I can't explain it...
I saw this at a sports bar on Superbowl Sunday, most commercials got a laugh or pretty much no response....when this one played 99% of the women were teared up and at least 50% of the guys, only commercial that actually got a standing ovation in the place...i'll never forget it.
where are the soliders who come back missing limbs or are mentally scarred or who don't comeback at all?, i'm sorry but for budweiser to make this is nothing short of sick. The european states who supported the war are not exactly heavyweights, they are Poland,Bulgaria,Romania,Estonia,Czech Republic and Moldava and Iceland who are not even European states
The video thanks ALL American soldiers including those who were injured or killed. There's nothing sick about the commercial. It's a well-deserved expression of gratitude. You omitted the UK, Italy, and Spain (who did the famous European Cower when the going got tough) amongst others from your list.
phlegmmm, you sound like an intelligent person, do you not see what they are trying to do with a commerical like this?, it's unfortunate that the us is sucked into this and i have many dear american friends but this type of hollywood takes peoples mindsets away from what is really going on..
I see exactly what they're doing. They're using the most expensive commercial minute on television to express gratitude to soldiers who answer the call to arms - period. They deserve the recognition and I applaud Anheuser-Busch for providing it. (And, yes, it is good PR for them. So what.)
This commercial doesn't distract anyone's attention from what's going on in Iraq. My president's doing a shameful job executing this war. My nation's troops don't make decisions to engage in war, they answer the call and deserve my admiration and respect. They're two completely different topics.
The vid honors the members of a nation's armed services who respond when their country (Do you still have countries in your increasingly-irrelevant European Union?) calls upon them. It applauds brave men and women willing to put themselves in harm's way not a government's decision to wage war.
This video is made to sell beer. Dont you see a manipulation, even when its that big? Do you still think there were links between saddam and terrorist groups?
As a "European", what exactly do you support...other than Socialism, pacifism, and codependency? You've the strength of an entire continent, yet you're becoming insignificant. (By the way, more than twenty nations from "Europe" did support the war during its inception.)

If your pay is low, thank a politician.
If your getting paid, thank a soldier.
Copy and paste if you support our men and women serving in harms way, and everywhere else.

Bullshit propaganda invented by some spin asshole in the whitehouse who is probably on the board of Budweiser
Incredible that people are so stupid to view this unjust war like a movie as a European thank god we didn't support it
