  • i have sonar 8 producer, and am tying to use Groove synth, but whenever i press play, all the settings (attack, delay, vibrato, reso., cutoff, etc...) go back to normal. what am i doing wrong?

  • Actually the groovesynth is just a software MC-505.

  • Cannot beat the classic roland sound = We call it ACiD!!! :D

  • i still cant figure out how to put the sounds on a track template, ya skipped the part i need to know!

  • Is it VSTi? I mean do you need Cakewalk to use it?

Most people who would appreciate classic roland sounds use ableton or cubase.

Cakewalk is more rock and roller producer imho. They don't know about or care about the tb303, or 808s and 909s, or junos, jupiters. JX3ps, and all those classic synths that electronic producers really love!

  • "nice beat!!!!!I love mpk49 look my video!!!!!!"

  • i´ve got sonar 7 Producer edition.i think i don´t have this tempo delay. got more than 2 hours trying to figure out it for my drums? . Any suggests or maybe parameters for another delay included in sonar 7

  • That is an effect plug-in that ships with Project5 and SONAR Home Studio. The real purpose of the video is to show off the groove synth.

  • ok. i understand. thanks mate.

  • how to i assign a controller to the grove synth??

  • Is a MIDI keyboard required to make music with this program?

  • No, you can make music by manually entering notes in the Staff View or Piano Roll view.

  • are the 808s in the groove synth

  • Yes, and 909s too

  • Is there a quicker way to page through Groovesynth's patches? The popup menu interface to the patches is really slow. The other soft synths (e.g., Pentagon) shipped with Sonar 6 PE have arrow keys that make paging through the multitude of patches much faster.

  • You should try setting the patch on your MIDI track itself rather than the interface of the virtual instrument. Your MIDI track must have another patch set, so when the file plays it changes the patch on the instrument.

  • when i load a midi file, and use the groovesynth, i set a patch, on the groove synth, but when i goto play the file, it reverts back to something else, and i have no idea how to save it.. does the same thing with TTS-1.. any ideas?

  • En español por favor.
