  • That's "Billy Joel - 52nd Street" (released 1978) on 8-track tape

List of tracks listed that he switched in order:

    P2: Stilleto

    P3: My Life

    P4: Honesty

    P1: Big Shot

  • Great! A Lafayette with VU meters. Lafayette Radio Electronics was one of my favorite electronics catalogs. The prices and selection usually seemed better than Radio Shack, at least for the stuff I was buying. They finished out a lot of people's component stereo systems, with additional decks, adapters, upgraded FM antennas, etc. I still use my Lafayette analog multimeter.

  • bad ass i want billy joel 8 track tape

  • They're before my time, but I love 8 tracks. That system rocks!

  • Wow, it sounds great!

  • I used to have it but still works, but nothing happened, since I was erasing my tapes, because it was too noisy.

  • I wish my 8 track player was as cool as that one.

  • I still have my Q 8 Track tape player and Reel to Reel one also. Its a Surround 4 channel Panasonic the 8 Track is and the Reel to Reel is a Akai. Still working good as new.LOL

  • That is one nice machine!

  • Never seen one where the tape goes in that far- they usually stick out a ways. Must be fun to eject.
