  • i thought they cant have citrus stuff?... i have a pair!!! they r awesome!!!

  • Listen, I know kinkajous are not suppose to have oranges but I was out of bananas one night and I gave her a peeled orange until the morning. I've had her two years and only given her two oranges in that time. About a week after the latest orange, she has become very temperamental and trembles a little bit; in her back legs especially. She knows who I am and that I'm not going to hurt her but she still flinches and barks at first approach. It seems as though she shakes less and is much more act

  • Kinkajous are in the Procyonidae family which consists of raccoons, coatis, kinkajous, ringtail cats, cacomistles, and olingos. Some believe pandas and red pandas are related as well.

  • no cirtrussssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I went to Ack's a few months ago after being away from NY for years (I was searching for the other exotics shop on the same street, but it was gone). I walked into the place and the first thing I saw were their coatimundi, which I had to loudly proclaim "COATIS!!" I'm considering going back up there next springtime to pick up a prairie dog pup, since I can't find pouched rats anywhere anymore (now that they're legal again)

  • kinks don't make good pets.. they are great when young but can get nasty temper tantrums when older.. i have 2 rescues and one that i bottle raised..

  • What is a kinkajou classed as? Because I know its not a monkey, but is it a primate or a rodent or marsupial?

  • It's a relative of raccoons.

  • they're not supposed to be domesticated pets... they're wild animals who belong in the canopies. and then people complain and freak out when they bite or run awayple

  • they are bad pets

  • veryy very cute..... but please check out Critter Camp Mom. Kinkajous do not make good pets. They live for 25-30 years and can go violent on their owners, even if they've been well cared for and loved their entire lives. I love them too but I trust the advice of my friend who owns and animal resucue more than my own emotions. Not judging anyone here, ok? Love to all
