@m1aws When someone claims that this skull is of "alien" origin, and has no evidence for this, that is his first MISTAKE. Naming the skull, Starchild, was another MISTAKE. Disregarding the results from 2 credible labs that concluded that the skull was human and had human parents, was another MISTAKE. @m1aws Since there is no "partly human" to compare anything to, and no "alien" either, then that kind of forces the argument down the pipe where this skull DNA has to differ so much from the human genome that at least statistically-speaking, it would be considered non-human. Funny that an X and a Y chromosome were already found in a previous analysis, and the lab concluded that this was indicative that it was human as were both parents.

If I claimed to have developed a cure for cancer and was willing to sell the cure to whomever, would society expect me to provide evidence that would have to meet the standards of science? If instead, I claimed that I used "alternative knowledge" to develop this cure, and as such, I didn't need to use science, I would be run out of town on the end of a pitch fork and rightly so! It was decided that no star can reach high enough temperature for the process of nuclear fusion to produce the heavier elements and as such it was concluded that all stars in the universe must have existed as a single star. So, if the evidence is not in YET, then how is it possible to make conclusions that the skull is not entirely of human origin? Research is an active process; it's useage is as much as a "verb" as a noun, but you know that right? However, without an edcuation in science at such a level, how then can you actually understand the science sufficiently in order to comment? You sound like you have no education whatsoever. Lloyd Pye has not done any research; he sells books. You obviously know nothing about science because if you did, you would understand that Pye's assertions are totally without substance. There is no DNA evidence to support his claims.
@wlfmi It is not that anyone needs a PhD, per se, but that the person needs a skill set with which to understand these views. One must have an understanding of concept and fact, a good sense of critical thinking and logic, and the self discipline and tenacity to sees things through to the end of one's research. Pye has done none of this. He has no training in science and has never demonstrated to the scientific community that he is interested or capable of quality scientific research.

Why after so many years of flogging his books, and after two DNA analyses that did not find anything that was out of the ordinary in terms of a HUMAN 900yo skull, of human origin, did he just not give it up? DNA from the father was not found because geneticists were unable to extract nuclear DNA, which contains DNA from the mother and the father. Furthermore the composition of the skull is like nothing found on Earth. Clearly further tests need to be performed on this unique skull. Dismissing this as "complete codswallop" would be incorrect at this time.

She actually dug up the entire skeleton and bundled the other one up with it.She didn't know what she was going to do with them so she hid them under tree roots. @m1aws When someone claims that this skull is of "alien" origin, and has no evidence for this, that is his first MISTAKE. Naming the skull, Starchild, was another MISTAKE. Disregarding the results from 2 credible labs that concluded that the skull was human and had human parents, was another MISTAKE. Continuing to claim that the incomplete results he allegedly had was more proof of "alien" heritage was another MISTAKE. Misinterpreting differences from a limited database to mean "alien", MISTAKE.

@m1aws Since there is no "partly human" to compare anything to, and no "alien" either, then that kind of forces the argument down the pipe where this skull DNA has to differ so much from the human genome that at least statistically-speaking, it would be considered non-human. Funny that an X and a Y chromosome were already found in a previous analysis, and the lab concluded that this was indicative that it was human as were both parents.

We have scientific proof that our sun is not a lone star. Most stars in the universe have binary or ternary companions so our sun would be odd if it did not have any companions. The observable known as precession proves that we have stars that we cannot see. Glen W Deen astrophysicist explains in his report how we have white dwarf and brown dwarf companion stars and or very close to a globular cluster. We cannot see these due to gravitational lensing. We are not alone!

Every scientific argument has an equally compelling scientific counter argument. One argument becomes popular belief and the other though believed by many scientists is unknown to the public and as such is alternative knowledge. CO2 emissions do not course global warming, the big bang never happened and dark energy does not exist yet this is accepted scientifically. Alternative knowledge is the science behind everything that is not accepted by the majority!

If I claimed to have developed a cure for cancer and was willing to sell the cure to whomever, would society expect me to provide evidence that would have to meet the standards of science? It was decided that no star can reach high enough temperature for the process of nuclear fusion to produce the heavier elements and as such it was concluded that all stars in the universe must have existed as a single star. Fred Hoyle PHD and nuclear physicists proved that one star can produce all known elements. The scientific evidence against the big bang is overwhelming but because of popular belief no one knows anything about it. Alternative knowledge is science just not popular science!

The Starchild project is not up against scientific counter arguments but is up against the 3 stages of truth. The first stage is ridiculed, the second stage is violently opposed and the third stage it is accepted as being self-evident. TheSkepticUn is a very fine example of the three stages of truth as it is clear he is in the second stage. So, if the evidence is not in YET, then how is it possible to make conclusions that the skull is not entirely of human origin? No scientist worth his/her salt would ever make such claims without replication of experiments done by separate, independent labs and then these findings be published in peer-reviewed journals. No DNA tests have shown this and yet you have told me that such evidence is pending. Well, if it is pending, then it is not yet available as evidence and such conclusions are not valid. More circumstantial, DNA is context-dependent and evolves based on its environment. How could "alien" DNA ever be compatible?

Research is an active process; it's useage is as much as a "verb" as a noun, but you know that right? Any scientist would and does, expect that stringent attention to detail be described in testing protocols, something that is entirely absent in what has gone on. @wlfmi It is not that anyone needs a PhD, per se, but that the person needs a skill set with which to understand these views. One must have an understanding of concept and fact, a good sense of critical thinking and logic, and the self discipline and tenacity to sees things through to the end of one's research. Pye has done none of this. He has no training in science and has never demonstrated to the scientific community that he is interested or capable of quality scientific research.

DNA from the father was not found because geneticists were unable to extract nuclear DNA, which contains DNA from the mother and the father. Furthermore the composition of the skull is like nothing found on Earth. Clearly further tests need to be performed on this unique skull. Dismissing this as "complete codswallop" would be incorrect at this time.

@petey87uk Lloyd said it during another interview. Keep looking for Starchild Skull/Lloyd Pye interviews and you will catch the whole story. She actually dug up the entire skeleton and bundled the other one up with it.She didn't know what she was going to do with them so she hid them under tree roots. They got washed away during a rain storm and all she found was the two skulls and a piece of the upper jaw of the SC.She said the buried body was very small.
