  • R.I,P. Richard Searle. You instilled fear of girls in many young boys.

  • Chuck Norris's daughter goes to St Trinians

  • I think this is better than the new version because you can never beat the old version

  • I love this song. So many school songs are full of useless twaddle like "Always strive, blah blah blah". This one gives useful advice. "There's one born every day!"

  • Even though I am a Girls Aloud fan. I waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay prefer the original St. Trinian's school song

  • I like the idea that a girls school has a "battle song" the original films were the best!

  • Ar the old St. T's. Alot more organised and criminally respectable then the current reboot: At least 5 fires, 2 raids on a government Ministry, beting the school funds on racehorses to save the school, using croichet mallets in hockey, and manufacturing and selling whiskey.

  • @Traininghopper At least we know where they get the ideas for the newer St. Trinian's films from

  • Alastair Sim was the greatest of british comedy actors. He had a very special talent that has never been seen again and it's such a shame that he is not given the level of credit he deserves. As a youngster, I only briefly remember seeing him once on TV as a judge, but having watched his films since, I only wish that somewhere out there was a new AS.

  • @pyglett ... I totally agree with you ... Alistair Sim was a BRILLIANT actor... I love his SCROOGE and also Miss FRITTON in St T's... But he also starred in a lot more films.. 'Green For Danger' is one, it was on Channel 4 the other day.. Wickedly black funny film... 'School for Scoundrels' with Terry-Thomas and Ian Carmichael ... 'The Happiest Days of your Life' with Margaret Rutherford, about a boys and girls school sharing the same building... Brilliantly funny too... :0)x

  • @pyglett I couldn't agree more.. he was totally oojah-cum-spiff..

  • love the song love the orignal movies and want to be a st trinians girl dont mind witch form weather its the trobels some 4th form 'the sexy 6th form or the best of both 5th form (not many people know theres a 5th form lol there the best of both the 4th and 6th form)

  • o!m!g! i love it :)

  • haha guess what i just ordered on dvd:)

  • lolz. i think i prefer the new one ;c)

  • Loved it as a schoolkid and love it now!!!

  • Wonderfull !

  • i got the set for last christmas gosh not that long ago :o

  • Awesome video

  • Always loved this song! It has the right air of a ghastly school song and the wonderful plinkety-plunk piano accompaniment is perfect

  • go harry

  • this songs great

  • I recently saw Blue Murder of St Trinian's it was actually very good and well worth stay up to see at 2 in the morning. I can see what they borrowed from this movie for the current St Trinian's. Shame they didn't keep the chant.

  • yes it is

  • @TsarObezyanka hmm. but the new one is more nowadays and scandal lol

  • Thanks for posting :)

  • I always wanted to be in the 4th form and beat the sexy 6th formers and weld my croquet mallet or hockey stick..., Because the 6ths were always mean to the 'little scrappy 4ths'...

St Trinians will never die... Come on girls....

Oh, by the way, I'm a Nanna with Silver hair now, but still a scrappy 4th former underneath... Charge...

Love it, British comedy at its best... :0)x

  • @wenglishsal

    Well said

    :)

  • @wenglishsal God bless you

  • omg they sound so cute

  • I was a big fan of St. Trinian´s films as a kid, but I never really paid much attention to the lyrics of the song...thanx for posting them!

  • i got a set of all the old st trinians vids im just watching blue murder

  • Haha. this is like adam & eve time :p

  • i like the new one much more than tht version

  • ummmmm

the latest song is WAY WAY WAY better.

  • Um, no it isn't, because this one is illustrated by the GREAT Ronald Searle!!!

  • "Maidens of St Trinian's

    Gird your armour on.

    Grab the nearest weapon

    Never mind which one!"

    (Words by Sidney Gilliat)

  • Possibly the only school in history to have a Battle Hymn rather than a School Song. "....glory in their plight!..."...priceless.

  • ahhh brilliant

  • Have you got the theme to the train robbery if so could you put the start up cheers

  • So much better than the new one!Thank you for posting this

  • My school was very much like this (it was also fee paying), the headmaster's secretary (only 16) used to sit in her office knitting babyclothes for her forthcoming event...

  • I lov the Belle's of St.Trinians my fave but this one's good too i got the box set :p

  • Ah! I see you spotted the deliberate mistake... Er! actually I got distracted and made a spelling mistake miss... Sorry! I'll write that word one hundred times on the jolly old blackboard. That will teach me to teach others Englis... Er! I mean English... Silly me!

  • ah! i havent heard this song since i was in primary and they used to play these movies at miday! thank you!

  • Nice Englis ATTITUDEBABE999 what form are you in..? Kindy! Really..? Well maybe you should know your ABCs by now.

  • ENGLIS !!! Or is that Aussie spelling?

  • Excuse me?

  • Certainly, the bathrooms down the corridor on the left.
