  • do u have a life?

  • Yes last time I took my pulse it was, in fact, beating and at a reasonable rate to be considered alive. Thanks for your concern though.

  • Do you ever have good grammar?

  • In her case, it seems to be about caring. Others indeed have an ego driven agenda. Very well said. Always an intelligent response from you.

  • ItalianStallionette made a response worth watching. Somewhat the same "take" as your own.

  • HA! Yeah, very well said. Hopefully that girl will have someone in her life who will say these things to her.

    :-)

    Thanks, Tim!

This isn't showing as a response. Happened with Vmanvand's video too. (whaddup, YT??)

  • Tim you nailed. Well said.

  • very well said.

  • Good video, Tim. I might add something, though. I don't see that most of faith is a conscious decision. Either you believe, or you don't. One's faith can change over time, however, based on the information they receive in their lives. It varies from person to person how this process works.

The conscious part is knowing your beliefs... and in some cases, denial of belief or disbelief. I know this, because I was once in denial myself, and the lie of that denial ate away at me. cont...

  • That denial, and the feeling that went with it, made me very uncomfortable, and unhappy, because it tore at one of my most revered moral codes... honesty.

Today, I'm no longer in denial, and that guilt is gone. I was raised Christian, but these days I'm agnostic. That's not to say I don't still explore various faiths. I joined the Unitarian church because of the humanist values they share. However, it's also become a place where I can learn of ALL faiths. cont...

  • Will my faith change in the future? Maybe. That's the whole foundation of agnosticism. It's the need for enough evidence... the right information... to bring about belief. Will I end up Christian? I doubt it. I grew up going to a parochial school, so Christianity is probably the faith I know most about. I expect if it changes, it will be a unique combination from the many theologies I've learned of. Regardless, my moral values are in line with ALL of the faiths I've learned of.

  • Some care about the souls of others. Some just want to be right and prove others wrong. Either way, all points of view need to accept and respect the personal choices of others.

  • Excellent point. I am not naive enough to think that all folks who "argue" this point do so out of the goodness of their heart. :)

  • You will be getting a video response tomorrow morning. However, I cant at this very moment due to relaxing and do not feel like putting a shirt on.
