good luck hun and sounds like switching up your conditioner may help, even though our hair is thirsty we all have different needs with regards to the products we use x
Hello Sweetheart! Great Video! Just One Quick Question How Often Do You Trim Your Hair? I Use All-Natural Product (i.e. Olive Oil To Keep Moisture) Because My Hair Is Natural But Im A Bit Apprehensive About Trims..Thanks!
Hi sasha! I self trim about every 8 to 12 weeks as I was soooo tired of scissor happy hairdressers....and I only do it when the ends look and feel a little rough and coarse :0)
Thanks For The Response! One More! Now I'm Avoiding All Heating Tools (Blow Dryers Etc.) To Keep My Hair From Breaking Off. Should I Flat Iron Whenever I Need A New Trim?
@ReviveUK i would love to be able to trim my own hair so i can cut out hair dressers completely. i been gettin a relaxer since 13 & have been goin to the same hair dresser sincebut she quit several months ago so i took over & started doin my own relaxer but now im tryin to go natural or at the very least stretch out my relaxers. im tryin to do my own deep conditionings but everytime i try my hair comes out feelin heavy & i hate it & end up washing it again
I know hun, I stopped going to hairdressers in 2007 and havn't looked back...am not sure I trim my hair even but I prefer that to a 2" chop when I ask for a trim!!! and keep on with your stretching or transitioning...sounds like you need a lighter deep conditioner as well :0)
Thank you ladies and if you have afro hair and havn't visited Healthy Textures...its a great site, warm and supportive ladies, loads of helpful info :0)

I just went out & bought a new conditioner so if this one is still too heavy I'll just have to do a quick wash instead of just rinsin it out
