The original lineup of the Avengers was Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Antman, and the Wasp. Almost immediately came Captain America. The Black Panther joined because the Avengers returned his throne to him, and Hawk-Eye joined because of the Hulk. They're kinda going in order of the original series, so you won't be seeing the heroes you love like Wolverine and Spider-Man until a long time if the series stays strong. If we're lucky we might even see the Civil War story.

Disney is lookin pretty good so far, Although when I first heard about the Ultimate Spiderman series...I was a little bit ehh, up and down about the news. They have the concept right, and the storyline seems pretty accurtae as far as most animated adaptions go. But why does he have to look so damn young? lol, In the comics he was 15 in Ultimate Spiderman version. But in the series he looks like he's 12? XD We'll have to see how that turns out. :)

This cartoon looks pretty neat, though I admit I have a certain fondness for the old 90s Marvel Spiderman and X-Men cartoons(best ever). The animation looks...well, I don't hate it but I don't love it either. Either way, it's the Avengers, and aside from Nick Fury it looks pretty accurate.

Also, the DC cartoons are awesome. I for one have every episode of the old Batman cartoon, the Superman cartoon, Justice League, Batman Beyond, etc. Go DC!!!

It looks more like Marvel is aping DC's "blocky" animation style. They're even going as far to recruit Paul Dini, who worked on the 90s Batman cartoon on their new Spider-man cartoon. This is a failure on Marvel's part to differentiate their animation from DC's.

The 90's spiderman style or the 80's Gi-joe style would have been better.

The textured weighty feel of that naturalistic style is still the gold standard.

BUT this cartoon is definitely heads and shoulders s above the WB blocky figures and that god awful spectacular spider-man. I love the all action approach and the epic feel. They really look like they are sciencing the true powers of each character.

Also...the song is CRAZY. They ned to drop a single.

Hey 'm not trying to change anyone's mind. Its cool to have ones own tatses. I thought SS was HORRIBLE. Totally unwatchable. BM TAS had it's moments but was horrible drawn and written for the most part. It started that awful blocky style that I am HAPPY has been retired by DC. It may be less less expensive but it LOOKS CHEAP and churned out. We gotta get back to quality at some point.

To anyone saying that the animation needs to be more like the '90's Marvel shows I just gotta know. Are you insane!?!?!? Choppy animation that was reused often, designs meant to be realistic but just wound up being painful on the eye and weird and very awkward voice acting. Don't get me wrong I do love the old Marvel shows, seeing as they were a big part of my childhood, but this looks way better.

I don't remember the very awkward voice acting.

The only reason why this "looks better" is because they are using less frames per second and the drawing is more simplified. The use of computer software takes a lot of grunt work out of the process, making it look smoother than it normally would have if it were done by hand. This was a very cheap cartoon to make. I get the feeling that a staff made up of less then ten animators could bang this out in a week.

Thinking avengers just wanted to imprison a guy that really needed help, he threw away his chance at being an avenger. Too bad. Avengers actually were trying to track Hulk down to help him. Bat that's how it went in the comics . . .

@SUPREMEQUEEN09 To me the style sorta reminds me of classic issues, Kirby even. Except the character design. It's not my favorite style characters but it's okay and seems to get the job done fairly decently animation-wise. 90's may have had more musculature but the animation was a little clunky at times. It's good to find a balanced ground that lends itself to the maddening task of animation. I know a bunch of animation students (I"m an illustration student) and they can go a little crazy
