  • thats awsome!!!

  • Damn!!!.... its too bad its not a lefty, I'm looking for another back up Hofner for my 1964 500/1

  • @Entwistle14 - Yes, they still have this bass for sale....

  • do you still have the bass?

  • @megamicron. I do not have extensive knowledge on the specific years for 500/1´s. Did you try to Google it?

  • Would you know something about the Hofner 500/1 1958? I would like to hear ho it sounds. Thank you!

  • where can i find a hofner like that one?

  • I'd love to own a Hofner, but not necessarily one of the really expensive ones, but maybe one of the less expensive ones but quality made. But for now,I have a Hofner copy that cost me $200,and I am quite pleased with it.I am left handed but I take a lefty bass and have another nut put on it and the strings switched, putting the E string on the bottom.I just put a set of flatwounds on it and it improved the sound dramaticlly.Maybe one day,I'll get a real Hofner, but I'll always keep my copy.First one

  • You talk about this instrument with the respect it deserves, I love it

  • where can i get one similar?

  • Yep. pauls...

  • I would tell 1964...

  • @odysseios - You are absolutely right! Thank you!
