I'd love to own a Hofner, but not necessarily one of the really expensive ones, but maybe one of the less expensive ones but quality made. But for now,I have a Hofner copy that cost me $200,and I am quite pleased with it.I am left handed but I take a lefty bass and have another nut put on it and the strings switched, putting the E string on the bottom.I just put a set of flatwounds on it and it improved the sound dramaticlly.Maybe one day,I'll get a real Hofner, but I'll always keep my copy.First one
thats awsome!!!
