@superman1113215 I have heard that said a fair bit, but trust me, to be really good as both a Turntablist and even a Dancefloor DJ takes a ton of commitment, skill and tallent. In terms of performing for a dance floor it's also a lot about charisma. I think if you scratched the surface a little you would be surprised at the skill sets involved. I respect that it's not your thing, but don't make the mistake of thinking that it's easy.

@CalvinKarass im a classical musician, and i know a thing or two about making beats. one time when i was at a party, i asked my friend if i could try out his turntable. after 2 minutes of testing it out i put on a song and started goofing around with the table. people asked me how long i have been a dj and why i never told them about it. im sorry but maybe it takes a lot of work for some people, but not for others

Trust me you are not good after 2 minutes, unless you mean to say that you became as good as Q-Bert or tore up the party as Sander Van Doorn would have a club, I would imagine that in the eyes of an experienced DJ/Clubber you actually sucked pretty hard. Agreed, some learn faster than others... but two minutes is anus chatter.
