It says my ip is what i changed it to but whenever I go to a sight that tells you your ip it tells me what it was before. please respond someone :)

i press cmd and :ipconfig /all... there is no numbers... there are somthing else.... :S my other pc is like you say... on ur video, but in my laptop is not what can i do?? plzzz!!! :( :(

won't work if you are logged into router, i exited router and redid now it works!

Warning, if you are logged into your router website at this time dont disable / enable, it will say that you are duplicate and you have to wait till you can log on :/

@Admin591 no because this is your local ip or the one for your personal network, however they banned you external ip which is what the rest of the world sees.

guys if the internet access doesn't work just reset your router and try again redoing all the steps, after about 4 or 5 tries i got it to work.

Thank you very much, it worked perfectly. I was portforwarding but i had to keep changing my Default DMZ server because of this Dynamic IP. Now thanks to you i have a static ip and everything work just fine!

Don't worry, I found my default gateway. I followed your tutorial and did exactly as you said (Apart from the default gateway bit), but now I get a warning related to multiple default gateways - Do I wish to proceed. I haven't clicked yes yet as I do not want to screw up my laptop. For all I know it could be a meaningless warning, but nevertheless I wanted to check first.

Great tutorial - One problem though. Whenever I type in ipconfig /all I end up with a load of tunnel adapters, and no default gateway :S
