Queens of the species in the video can be caught during their mating flights around July. Or you can buy one, they sell a few on EBay, Ants Kalytta and Antstore.net.

nope, that is forbidden since those ants that build an ant hill are protected by law in Germany. Easiest way to get an ant is to catch one if they fly out for mating. Or just buy them at any of the inet stores, that sell ants
