@apopyalips All languages have plus and minus points. In Hebrew the J and Y are interchangeable as are the V and the W. Plus the fact the Tetagramaton is a plural. How more clear can the people above make it? You have a Greek scholar among others there and men who are logical who are going back to the Scriptures. They are not like those who do not understand that a little learning is a dangerous thing--such as people who run cults. The later are like those flat earthers who think they know best.
To answer the title of your video, yes Jesus Christ is a limited god, and no Jesus Christ is not the Almighty God. Limited gods are Judges, Angels, Moses, and the King Messiah. The only one who is the Almighty God is the Heavenly Father alone.
@GeneralHanSolo "So which verse in the bible shows Jesus as a "limited god"?"
Limited God may not be the proper choice of word. Perhaps a better way to put it is to say that Jesus is less than God, the Father who is the only one who in and of himself exists as the infinite substance and entirety of God- the one God and Father of all. John 14:28 "... I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I."
The Infinite almighty God has not one greater than him in any shape or form.
@TheGenuineChristian i'm sorry, but jesus is no mere prophet or angel, you re completely wrong, reread your bible instead of listening to people who'll say anything. you know theres otns of people teaching that paul is frm satan, that enoch met aliens, that jesus had a mistress, that the bible is just based on astronomy, that the bible is corrupted, that mary has super powers, that you can become god, that jesus is just a teacher to show us how to use our mind potential, all kinds of stuff.
@TheGenuineChristian Try looking at Jn 18:6-8 U will notice that when Jesus answers the Guards by saying "I am" They ALL FALL DOWN WITH THEIR WEAPONS. Why would they fall down? Tell me. It was because He used the Hebrew words that GOD used to tell Moses that HE was the 'I AM'. = GOD. U see The ITALICIZED word "he" which was added by the translators & is not in the Greek. If Ur Blind 2 the wittiness of the Holy Spirit leading U 2 truth in these verses then U R very sad 2 me.
@godswordsheal Can you explain the trinity to me? cause it is very confusing even when I used to believe in Trinity. I didn't even know how to explain it. Apparently the bible doesn't know how to explain it either because it doesn't mention a trinity. Only a Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. All separate persons.
@imseekingtruth We believe that in the one BEING that is God, there exists three co-equal, co-eternal persons. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit wherein the Spirit is not the Son, the Son is not the Father, and the Father is not the Spirit. So since they are separate they can communicate to each other as Jesus does to the Father in the gospels or the Father does to Jesus in Hebrews, send each other the Father sent Jesus, Jesus sends the Holy Spirit.
@godswordsheal I agree that the Spirit is not the Son, the Son is not the Father and the Father is not the Spirit. They are separate. So if they are separate, then how can they be one BEING? Do you see the confusion? Confusion is not of Yahweh! I am no longer confused. Thank you for your explanation.
@imseekingtruth 2.But it is evident also from scripture that ALL three possess the characteristics of God Almighty, even if we don't presuppose them being equal. Jesus in John 1 is described as everlasting, the Alpha and Omega in Revelation. The Spirit in the book of Acts is able to be omnipresent and GIVE LIFE to whom (he) chooses. These are attributes that only God possess yet since all three are presented as having these abilities we must conclude that they are one as we are monotheists.
@godswordsheal They possess these characteristics because Yahweh gave Yahushua the authority to do things and Yahushua never said He did them on His own. He always points to the Father that sent Him. Just like we are nothing without Yahweh, the Spirit and Yahushua are nothing without Him also. The Father gives life to everything and everyone. If i have the same abilities as my earthly father, does that make us one person?
@imseekingtruth Once Jesus came on earth as a God/man He submitted authority to God the Father, check Philippians 2. If we ASSUME that Jesus is not God then we have to come to the conclusion that you did, But if we come to the text openly and without preconceptions, we let the text speak for itself; we clearly see that while separate they are the same. There is nothing similar on earth that could represent the vastness of who God is or as to what His nature is.
@godswordsheal Phl 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind. Phl 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Phl 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: .Phl 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
@godswordsheal I am not seeing where it says He is claiming to be Yahweh. Yahweh gave Yahushua the name above all names and the authority. Yahushua mean Yah saves.
@imseekingtruth That makes no sense. Who's name is above all names in the Old Testament? and if you are claiming that "the form of God" does not mean the same nature/being then what would it mean? That He is in the image of God like everyone else is? It clearly says "thought it not robbery to be equal with God" what does that mean to you? To me it says "(Jesus) thought that its not wrong to be equal with God" but He MADE Himself of no reputation. What's confusing here?
@imseekingtruth 2.Are you saying God made Jesus, God? Because it seems that Jesus already was in the form of and equal to God. So how can you reasonably say that He is not God. How is He in the form of and equal to God, if He is not God. Its not just a name. And this is a hymn that explains Jesus' deity and suffering.
@imseekingtruth 2.Earthly attributes are quite different than attributes of God, if the Spirit can give life ACCORDING to HIS OWN WILL then you cannot say that God has given Him this power! 2.In Acts 5, if the Holy Spirit were not God then why would anyone care if you "lie" to Him? Its quite clear since first Peter says that Ananias has "lied to the Holy Spirit" and later in the same paragraph "You have not lied to me but to God" and thus Ananias' life was taken away, the Spirit caused this.
@imseekingtruth 3.Let the Book speak for itself, do not put your own ideas in it. As a god/man Jesus was here to set an example for His disciples in praying to the Father, and doing the will of the Father; it does not follow that this proves that they cannot be one in nature/being. Please explain why Jewish leaders throughout the Gospels, are always a second away from stoning Jesus for the claims he made about Himself? Don't just ignore what you don't want to see.
@godswordsheal Jewish leaders or Pharisees and Scribes (who always added to the bible with their own teaching called the Talmud) wanted to stone Yahushua because they thought he was claiming to be Yahweh even though He never once said that He was Yahweh. They hated Him because He taught the Torah and not the Talmud, so He was breaking their law not His. The O.T. always says there is one Elohim, so they didn't understand what Yahshua meant by ONE and that is why they wanted to kill Him.
@imseekingtruth So, why then, when they wanted to throw Jesus off the cliff or the many times they wanted to stone Him did He not say "Stop, I'm not saying that I am God" and clarify? Any Rabbi (or anyone for that matter) knew the punishment for blasphemy and would have certainly spoken up and said that they were not claiming to be God in any of those many situations.
@imseekingtruth 2.Really, its terrible that you accuse Jesus of being an idiot or I guess mentally challenged. The Talmud actually wasn't around at this time in history, it wasn't until 200 AD or CE that these were complied. And if they didn't understand Jesus surely should have corrected them! What kind of prophet or Messiah would Jesus be if He would allow God's people to be mislead by His OWN WORDS?
@godswordsheal The Talmud wasn't actually written down until much later, but it was called the Oral Law for a reason back then. You are obviously convinced of the way you think so I will let you keep thinking the way you do. I do not want to argue with anyone. I only want to show the truth.
@imseekingtruth Why does He say John 8:24"Unless you believe I AM who I claim to be, you will die in your sins" If Jesus hadn't made it clear who he claimed to be then why would He expect them to believe. Why does He use the "I AM" or "I WILL BE" as God uses for Himself in the O.T.? Like I said the Talmud had not yet been compiled.
@godswordsheal We are to be one as the Father and Son are one. One in agreement and in one accord, having the same set apart Spirit and not be one with this world.
@imseekingtruth The Spirit of God is not a spirit shared by God and Jesus as a piece of themselves. Jesus clearly separates Himself from the Spirit (not to mention the fact that the Spirit was not with Jesus until His baptism) when He says He will send the Spirit or Counselor to the disciples...He DOES NOT say send "MY Spirit" or "God's Spirit". He does say ask the Father, to send the Spirit, but the Spirit clearly has HIS OWN will.
@imseekingtruth 2.John14:15-21 clearly shows the ONENESS and separateness of these three people each with their own person and will. It clearly says that once Jesus is no longer seen by the world, He will still be seen by the apostles and they will know that Jesus is in the Father and Jesus will be in them, while also the Spirit is in them too. Jesus even says that HE will do WHATEVER you ask in HIS NAME, not the FATHERS NAME but JESUS' NAME.
Jhn 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: So is this saying that we (the body of Christ) are one literal body? NO We are one in Spirit and one in agreement. Yahshua is not Yahweh cuz he died and Yah cannot die nor can he be tempted and he does not have to pray to himself.
@imseekingtruth Who said something about a literal body? SO you agree we can be ONE in Spirit just as God and Jesus are ONE in Spirit and agreement, that's EXACTLY what I'm saying. Jesus' was both God and Man fully. All man, and all God. So, God the Son who is Jesus, did not die. But Jesus the perfect man died as a sacrifice thus taking our sins. Jesus IS God and loves you but you MUST accept Him as Lord to be placed under the saving grace of the blood of Jesus Christ!
There are too many verses to quote that say Yahshua is not YHWH. Joh 14:28 You heard that I said to you, I am going away and I am coming to you. If you did love Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, I am going to the Father, for My Father is greater than I. Joh 5:30 Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me.
@repentnowpeople the so called 'genuine christian' does not understand that when Jesus came to earth He gave up his power of GOD Phil2:6-8 & put himself under GOD 2 be used by the Father in the Power of the HS. So, He was lower than the father during that time. Rev1:1 shows that Father gave it back 2 HIM./ HE was never less than the Father, only voluntarily lower for a short time. HE did this 2 become a man to pay 4R sins. This is the Narrow Gate that must be believed 2 be Saved. A SON is = 2GOD
@repentnowpeople Try looking at Jn 18:6-8 U will notice that when Jesus answers the Guards by saying "I am" They ALL FALL DOWN WITH THEIR WEAPONS. Why would they fall down? Tell me. It was because He used the Hebrew words that GOD used to tell Moses that HE was the 'I AM'. = GOD. U see The ITALICIZED word "he" which was added by the translators & is not in the Greek. Nothing will convince him as he does not have the Holy Spirit leading him as his fruit bares wittiness.
What Jesus was implying was that, "If I had no proof to bring of my being the Messiah, and equal to God, common sense would direct you to reject my testimony; but the mighty power of God, by which I work my miracles, sufficiently attests that my pretensions are well founded."
Deu 18:15,18-19 The Scriptures 1998+ (15) יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him, (18) I shall raise up for them a Prophet like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. (19) And it shall be, the man who does not listen to My Words which He speaks in My Name, I require it of him.
Father will send a brother whom we should listen to
And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit everlasting life? So יהושע said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One Elohim.
As the verses I've quoted before and many more I see we can be One with The Father as Yeshua has said as he is one with The Father. Which also The Father has APPOINTED whom is said is a MAN. The ESTEEM he was given we also can HAVE in YESHUA's Own Words.
@underthehour2000 The name Jesus doesn't represent what the Truth of Who The Savior is, namely Yahoshua(Yehoshua as the changed beginning of the name by the Scribes of The Scriptures{Tanach})
which means "Yah Is Salvation" vs. Jesus a name that doesn't carry that meaning in its spelling.
And to answer your question on what your asking about in terms of The Son being good or not. Didn't you get the answer from a verse previously posted?
And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.
(Rev 12:9 The Scriptures 1998+) Who leads all the world astray but those who teach man's traditions started by the RCC
Here is part of what Quietbuck is refering to. so that they all might be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in Us, so that the world might believe that You have sent Me. And the esteem which You gave Me I have given them, so that they might be one as We are one, I in them, and You in Me, so that they might be perfected into one, so that the world knows that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.(Joh 17:21-23 The Scriptures 1998+)
Truly, then, having overlooked these times of ignorance, Elohim now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has set a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed,1 having given proof of this to all by raising Him from the dead. Footnote: 1See 10:42.
As many as I love, I reprove and discipline. So be ardent and repent. See, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I shall come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I shall give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
Now then, since we are the offspring of Elohim, we should not think that the Elohim is like gold or silver or stone, an image made by the skill and thought of man. Truly, then, having overlooked these times of ignorance, Elohim now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has set a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed,1 having given proof of this to all by raising Him from the dead. Part 2 of 3
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, having ordained beforehand the times and the boundaries of their dwelling, to seek the Master, if at least they would reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and are, as also some of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.
The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
There is a mutual in being of the Father and the Son, who are one in nature and essence, in power and will, and in understanding and affection; which union, though it infinitely transcends any kind of union among men, or that can be conceived of by men, yet is the exemplar of the saints' union one with another, and to the divine persons; and which must be understood not of an equality, but a likeness.
"I AM" - That our Lord by this expression asserted his divinity and eternal existence, as the great I AM, appears evident from the use of the present tense, instead of the past tense, from its being in answer to the Jews, who enquired whether he had seen Abraham, and from its being thus understood by the multitude, who were exasperated at it to such a degree that they took up stones to stone him.
In my first section I should have written... Jesus(Yeshuah) is the SON of Yahweh !!! I type too quickly !!!!

godswordsheal 1 year ago

Don't just ignore what you don't want to see.
godswordsheal 1 year ago
@godswordsheal Jewish leaders or Pharisees and Scribes (who always added to the bible with their own teaching called the Talmud) wanted to stone Yahushua because they thought he was claiming to be Yahweh even though He never once said that He was Yahweh. They hated Him because He taught the Torah and not the Talmud, so He was breaking their law not His. The O.T. always says there is one Elohim, so they didn't understand what Yahshua meant by ONE and that is why they wanted to kill Him.
imseekingtruth 1 year ago
@imseekingtruth So, why then, when they wanted to throw Jesus off the cliff or the many times they wanted to stone Him did He not say "Stop, I'm not saying that I am God" and clarify? Any Rabbi (or anyone for that matter) knew the punishment for blasphemy and would have certainly spoken up and said that they were not claiming to be God in any of those many situations.

Like I said the Talmud had not yet been compiled.
godswordsheal 1 year ago
@godswordsheal We are to be one as the Father and Son are one. One in agreement and in one accord, having the same set apart Spirit and not be one with this world.
imseekingtruth 1 year ago
@imseekingtruth The Spirit of God is not a spirit shared by God and Jesus as a piece of themselves. Jesus clearly separates Himself from the Spirit (not to mention the fact that the Spirit was not with Jesus until His baptism) when He says He will send the Spirit or Counselor to the disciples...He DOES NOT say send "MY Spirit" or "God's Spirit". He does say ask the Father, to send the Spirit, but the Spirit clearly has HIS OWN will.
godswordsheal 1 year ago
@imseekingtruth 2.John14:15-21 clearly shows the ONENESS and separateness of these three people each with their own person and will. It clearly says that once Jesus is no longer seen by the world, He will still be seen by the apostles and they will know that Jesus is in the Father and Jesus will be in them, while also the Spirit is in them too. Jesus even says that HE will do WHATEVER you ask in HIS NAME, not the FATHERS NAME but JESUS' NAME.

@imseekingtruth 3.This is clearly Jesus saying He can do anything of Himself just as the Father can.

Jhn 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: So is this saying that we (the body of Christ) are one literal body? NO We are one in Spirit and one in agreement. Yahshua is not Yahweh cuz he died and Yah cannot die nor can he be tempted and he does not have to pray to himself.
imseekingtruth 1 year ago
@imseekingtruth He rose from the dead. God through Christ died, a real death. For all men are already truly dead spiritually.
TheJamezMan 1 year ago

As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me.
repentnowpeople 1 year ago
@repentnowpeople the so called 'genuine christian' does not understand that when Jesus came to earth He gave up his power of GOD Phil2:6-8 & put himself under GOD 2 be used by the Father in the Power of the HS. So, He was lower than the father during that time. Rev1:1 shows that Father gave it back 2 HIM./ HE was never less than the Father, only voluntarily lower for a short time. HE did this 2 become a man to pay 4R sins. This is the Narrow Gate that must be believed 2 be Saved. A SON is = 2GOD
MPPFLIPP 3 months ago
@repentnowpeople Try looking at Jn 18:6-8 U will notice that when Jesus answers the Guards by saying "I am" They ALL FALL DOWN WITH THEIR WEAPONS. Why would they fall down? Tell me. It was because He used the Hebrew words that GOD used to tell Moses that HE was the 'I AM'. = GOD. U see The ITALICIZED word "he" which was added by the translators & is not in the Greek. Nothing will convince him as he does not have the Holy Spirit leading him as his fruit bares wittiness.

Jesus says in John 5:31 "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true."
Q- What Biblical verse agrees or disagrees with John 5:31?
FactualVSFictional 2 years ago

And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit everlasting life? So יהושע said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One Elohim.
(Luk 18:18-19 The Scriptures 1998+)
As the verses I've quoted before and many more I see we can be One with The Father as Yeshua has said as he is one with The Father. Which also The Father has APPOINTED whom is said is a MAN. The ESTEEM he was given we also can HAVE in YESHUA's Own Words.

@withwingsaseagleeyes so is Jesus good?
underthehour2000 4 months ago
@underthehour2000 The name Jesus doesn't represent what the Truth of Who The Savior is, namely Yahoshua(Yehoshua as the changed beginning of the name by the Scribes of The Scriptures{Tanach})
which means "Yah Is Salvation" vs. Jesus a name that doesn't carry that meaning in its spelling.
And to answer your question on what your asking about in terms of The Son being good or not. Didn't you get the answer from a verse previously posted?

And the esteem which You gave Me I have given them, so that they might be one as We are one, I in them, and You in Me, so that they might be perfected into one, so that the world knows that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.(Joh 17:21-23 The Scriptures 1998+)

Truly, then, having overlooked these times of ignorance, Elohim now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has set a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed,1 having given proof of this to all by raising Him from the dead. John 17:21? - Acts 4:32
"as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee."
GeneralHanSolo 2 years ago
"I AM" - That our Lord by this expression asserted his divinity and eternal existence, as the great I AM, appears evident from the use of the present tense, instead of the past tense, from its being in answer to the Jews, who enquired whether he had seen Abraham, and from its being thus understood by the multitude, who were exasperated at it to such a degree that they took up stones to stone him.
