Well, I bought this VERY inaccurate kit off of Ebay and put it together myself. (with the help of others) The kit had MANY freakin flaws. Although, it turn out OK looking, it is still not the correct size. The orginal was actually bigger than the "...a fraction of one meter...." that Spocks scanner says Nomad was.
The lighting is custom. I used the same lighting effect as TOS used for SEVERAL props that blinked on the show. You might checkout my other videos.
