if ur software is Google Map, the map data must download from internet, so need internet connection.

It's not normal that takes more than 2 mins because satellite signal circulate about every 30 seconds.

You'd better try other s/w.

Second one is Google Map.

There're some versions of MapKing. Most people use 2007. I'm using G10.
