It's not christians I'm against, it's christianity *(along with all other religions)*. You are not your beliefs. However, your beliefs ARE causing their followers to commit acts that are harmful against society. Um people are NOT always christian just because they are scared of death. There are other more personal feelings involed. Also, I don't think that if you don't beleive in God you're going to hell, if God loves his childeren so much why would he let that happen? If he realizes we are all so BROKEN it doesn't mean we're going to be fixed on THIS world. It wouldn't be right if we were all just shipped off to hell. ALSO, if God loves EVERYONE then you should learn to at LEAST except everyone else.

First as cathloics we believe the pope has a direct connection to God and live by his decrees until Jesus comes back to Earth. Secondly I agree with you in saying that there is no end no finish line for a purpose. Personally though I believe the why of our purpose is to get everyone on the Earth to love and forgive every other person in the world. (I know wat a hard job!)_
It's hard to prove God's existence to those who don't want to see him. But I'll leave this for you to ponder. Why would it be helpful to ones survival to be able to love one another and have morals. Those hinder us from taking what would help from an eveloutionary perspective. No other animal has morals of right and wrong or shows as much affection and selflessness as our race. Now why would we evolve to have that? Because god created us.

It's not christians I'm against, it's christianity *(along with all other religions)*. You are not your beliefs. However, your beliefs ARE causing their followers to commit acts that are harmful against society. I would like to see that stop, and it seems that the only way it's really going to stop is once people have realized that religion is a bunch of nonsense.

@longpigs1 Christianity is a relationship with Jesus. You talk to him in prayer and he talks to you in the bible. You receive the gift from Jesus that when you die you go to heaven. It is simple but sadly many people make it more complicating by Religiously doing it. Religion is doing rituals just because it is a tradition and get very legalistic.

Um people are NOT always christian just because they are scared of death. There are other more personal feelings involed. Also, I don't think that if you don't beleive in God you're going to hell, if God loves his childeren so much why would he let that happen? If he realizes we are all so BROKEN it doesn't mean we're going to be fixed on THIS world. It wouldn't be right if we were all just shipped off to hell. ALSO, if God loves EVERYONE then you should learn to at LEAST except everyone else.

To say that Christians are afraid of death is the exact opposite to what we are taught to believe. We are taught to believe that after we are saved we no longer have to fear death. In reference to Jesus you need to get your facts straight because the Bible is a historical count of things that happened in the past. They are a testament to Jesus' life and to believe that they are just stories is fool-hardy.

Even when these myths were created in the middle east thousands of years ago there were people who mocked them as untrue and nothing more than immoral fables. Catastrophic global flood didn't happen. 'cept nearly every clam fossil we have (open up on death) is closed, a result of being covered rapidly by massive layers of silt. Most think there were many many little floods to explain away the results of a massive one.
6 day creation ... sun, water, land, fish, animals, humans. Clearly the wrong order.

Oh, I know about Phytoplankton. But I wonder, at 29000 ft, with Completely overcast skies, I wonder how much they'd have to work with in terms of nutrients that they draw from water that is close to soil on the sea floor and sunlight to photosynthesize with.
You do the math. No Nutrients(Debatable in some places, but overall, minuscule amounts which would be nowhere near Noah's Ark) + No Sunlight (Pretty much guaranteed for the supposed volume of rain) = No Photosynthesis = No new Oxygen

Okay, one, give evidence that any of Jesus' miracles actually happened. I'll accept historical records outside of the bible as evidence in his favor, but as there is none, all you have is "The bible said it happened, so it happened." as your argument.
Also, I find it funny that this God of yours likes to seem to bend the rules of physics whenever he likes, and yet, since we've come to understand how they work, we haven't had a physics defying miracle yet.

And my nutrients statement wasn't even about the arc. It was about the Phytoplankton, which need nutrient rich soil where they are in order to live and create food for themselves. If someone somehow managed to fit 2 of each earth animal onto that arc, I'm sure they'd have plenty to eat and drink (collecting rainwater, and they've got a boat full of animals) My question is, fitting two of every single species on that arc. How can you justify that, given the dimensions given of Noah's arc.

First as cathloics we believe the pope has a direct connection to God and live by his decrees until Jesus comes back to Earth. Secondly I agree with you in saying that there is no end no finish line for a purpose. It's hard to prove God's existence to those who don't want to see him. But I'll leave this for you to ponder. Why would it be helpful to ones survival to be able to love one another and have morals. Those hinder us from taking what would help from an eveloutionary perspective. No other animal has morals of right and wrong or shows as much affection and selflessness as our race. Now why would we evolve to have that? Because god created us.

Its funny how many people think my comedy is restrainded because I dont cuss or talk about dirty stuff.... but I write about stuff that makes me laugh and relates to my life...which is clean.
