I don't know why people are so disappointed that Born is no longer the battle hungry person he was. The style he adopts now is working for him. I like it, and I can see that I'm not the only one. Thesis in the background there is giving props, you can see Flea Rock and Tecnyc were contented with Born's style when they were judging R16 and GyeongNam respectively- the latter of which Born won the competition with that same "lazy" style. My guess is Born just want's to dance rather than compete.

I mean I don't think his style got lazier, everyone's footwork/style changes over time. I just think while Bboy Born had nastier and cleaner footwork, that was traded for a better efficient style with better transitional freezes, and crazier musicality. If anything this is more of a upgrade, and besides who cares how bboy Born dances. Use him as inspiration, not as your same exact style. I've cyphered with too many bboy Born imitations... and that is just whack.

@SunRys1 True enough, I was referring to the people that called his performance lazy or for those people who complain that, "Born is not the 'old Born' anymore, thus he sucks, what a shame," or something along those lines. I know that it's because some people are just like that and all, and it'd take time for them to get to know the bboy world longer to know that people change. But, it's still kind of angering nevertheless. It's the same as people dissing on Physicx for how he dances now.

and unless you were there at the jam, no one is really in the position to judge a bboy, watching a video and actually being there the whole time are completely different experiences. you don't know what happened leading up to the battle that might have caused what you believe to be a "lazy-ass performance" by born, could be anything. just saying.
