  • Bypass all your splitters... plug the Set Top Box directly into the cable that comes into the house. If you're still having problems then either your area is under maintenance or you need a new drop/STB. If your problem is fixed, then it's the cable line/splitters in your house. Same thing for internet. If your modem is dropping offline, bypass routers/splitters. If there isn't a problem in the area and your modem still cannot get online... its the wiring inside the home/drop/modem itself.

  • Both CableTV and DirectTV suck! I tried both and got sick and tired of wasting money on poor service and the same crappy reruns and garbage programs.

  • dude this is not a comcast issue its cus u have a splitter! the RX and Tx signal is trying to come in and ur splitter is fucked up!

    replace ur splitter and its fixed EAZY!

    I pay $60 per month for their bundle package, biggest waste of money. The first cable box they installed stopped working after just a day. They gave me a replacement which is a fucking joke; its a puny little thing that doesn't even have a power button. And their on-demand ALWAYS freezes and crashes on me.

    The cable internet is suppose to be up to 6 mb, BULLSHIT! My old netzero DSL was faster! I just wish I didn't sign a year contract. That's how they get you

  • Call them and make them come out and fix it do a truck role for every little thing that goes wrong.

    Get the managers email as well as his bosses email and the president's email address and make them FIX IT.

    Otherwise you can walk away due to them not fulfilling there part of the contract!

  • Their customer service is as bad as their techical service, or worse. I went through 5 MONTHS of customer service HELL to get them to stop billing my credit card every month after I cancelled my service with them. I'll never go through that again. If I move somewhere with Comcast is the only option, I'll do without.

  • I used to pay the same a long time ago. It even did not have the channels that I wanted. I wanted in Spanish but it was on 2003. AND I thought VERIZON was a lot! It was $120.

  • I had the exact same thing happen. I called many times and many different technicians came out and they all told me different excuses. (You have an old box. The wires inside your house are old. Maybe you have rodents!) We moved, and I haven't had THAT problem since. I'm actually going to Comcast today to cancel for an entire set of different issues. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

  • save the drama for your mama. I have been a cable tech for many years and the problem this guy is having is usually caused by a bad or loose connector and can be fixed in two minutes or less. People don't realize that we are in the digital age and that there is alot more to cable then what you can buy at radio shack. i.e. gold plated splitters and fittings and splitters don't mean shit . Leave the wiring to the professionals

  • I have the same problem, I've only had techs touch my equipment. The first time, a tech actually worked on my box @ my house & that just made it worst. The second and subsequent times, the tech just brought out a new box. I am now on my 6th box and its having the same problem, what can you suggest I do?

  • Start calling more and ask for managers, that usually puts fire under there ass.Also insist on having all new wire from the pole to the back of the t.v. remember you're the customer not them.

  • I have to step up on this one... Usually in most places that Comcasts 'services', they are the ONLY cable provider. There are satellite companies but what kind of choice is that? I have had satellite before and it was even worse than this at times. So.. if Comcast says they provide a clear digital signal then they should provide one consistently. I don't know the guy who posted this vid.. just chiming in.

  • I wish I had a choice. I have a lease restriction saying that I cannot install a dish on or outside my unit... Comcast is the only cable provider, so I'm stuck with them until my lease is up...
