THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CONSERVATIVE AND A LIBERAL
If a conservative doesn't like guns, they don't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, then no one should have one.
If a conservative is a vegetarian, they don't eat meat. If a liberal is, they want to ban all meat products for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

You don't need an AK47 to protect yourself. It should be harder to get an AK47. (I know they're not automatic if you buy them legally, but I've known a few who have; that's not hard to fix.)

If I'm forced to pay for roads then yes, a required license and criteria and a fee to obtain one is an infringement. Kids used to learn to drive tractors and trucks on family farms. By the time they were 14 they were skilled drivers. Same for fire arms. No background check. No safety course.

@Vote4RonPaulLiberty I was raised in a rural area and have been doing farm work for my entire life. I know full well what you're allowed to do on a farm. Farm vehicles have different regulations, ie you can drive them at a younger age. And no, I got my fair share of spankings as a kid, heh.
Not everyone was raised on a farm. Not everyone knows how to properly use a gun, or drive a car, which is why these regulations are needed.

It could be working on farms that has influenced my opinion, seeing kids being completely irresponsible around equipment that could kill them or injure them in no time flat.
