One big problem here: at 0:30, the voice over says "without warning". That's just not true.

the problem is cause you never know what day is until you take of, in the end all bad sitiation is pylot's eror so it loks like people should never fly paraglider well i think not cause you have to fly if you whana make a progres. This is a bad situation and he didn't know what hi's gunna find in the air also hi didn't whanted this things to hapend so this is just one expirience more in his paragliding carier !!!

A better analysis: He overbraked after entering the thermal and stalled the right side of the glider, the left (flying) side flew forward, sending him into a spin, the right side started flying again and the glider dove, starting the spiral dive. The whole episode was overwhelmingly caused by bad input by the pilot. The pilot also made a bad decision to fly that day with his skill levels. I count at least (5) distinct piloting errors.
