Given the known year of his birth (1943), he would have had to be 10 years old when he entered the monastery if he had been there 58 years. It's just one of many, many lies he tells about himself. If someone knows that he is lying yet still follows him as if he is a holy man, what does that say about the follower?

Why does this man say he has been a monk for 58 years, yet I have photos of him as a layman in 1977? Yet I have photos of him, and his classmates testify, that he was a lay seminarian at St. Tikhon's in 1988?

one comment about recommendation to leave wife and go to radical way to the God:

Fr Krest'yankin said the opposite in one of his priches. the reason - your wife/family is your cross. we do not choose the cross. it is given to us and we have to carry it.

i'm not a priest. and i'm not in a position to oppose Fr Parr. i just draw attention to this difference in views. pls look for the correct answer not in my writings. i just know this may be important for some people.

С наилучшими пожеланиями вам, но это звучит хорошо репетированой американской маркетинговой програмой, которых я видел в большинстве уз 44000 протестантских конфессий и в настоящее время в Ватикане 2 католических церквях. Какие последсвия? Влия правительства на добрые дела. Будут ли добровольцы оставатся русскими православными, или станут некоторыми другими.

@theoretix12 Согласен с вами, что это звучит немного по-американски, но я не считаю, что это не православная идея, ведь отец Иоаким сказал, что первые христиане и жили общиной и делили всё между собой, почитайте деяния. А по-американси звучит, потому что это типичная черта американцев делать всё основательно и с системой, чтобы был максимальный эффект от влагаемых в дело сил.
