@priest008 By hearsay, I heard that he believed that abortion was okay up to the time that the mother felt the baby move. This has since been denied as true because we now know that life begins at conception whereas in his time, the extent of their science led to inaccurate conclusions, they thought life did not start until later. But, again, it was only hearsay.

Let me say you why. the humans are allways frightened of thigs they could not control and the death is the only thing. and its the only thing they never will know. in the prehistory they startet to believe, that there must be a kind of otherworld and that there must be some overmight, which takes the lives because they could not explain why the friend, fater what else had to die. this is the beginnig of all religions.

@sewagedweller In the Religion of Islam it is forbidden to have any images of Muhammad. It is therefore Sacreligious. Comparing it to a cross is silly. That's not the same thing. Something that would be a similar instance would be showing Jesus having sex, or killing someone. If that happened, I assure you there would be some angry Christians. Please don't take this as an attack. I respect all Religions and dislike ignorance.

Destroying contemplative orders was one of the greatest failures in history... People like Joseph II. or communists ("barbarian night" 1950 in Slovakia) wanted to "purify" the nation, but instead of that they made a step to hell. Thanks God that after this many monasteries of contemplative orders were founded...although it's a pity that we haven't Carthusians or Cistercians in Slovakia
